does it swing both ways?

The Windsor Walk-Thru Swing Gate can swing open in either direction or can be set to open only one direction.

Can a dog get out of the gate by pushing it open on his own?

The gate is able to close securely.
Can this product be used in an opening with baseboard trim?

The gate mounts need to be flush with each other so we wouldn't recommend using on the baseboard trim but just higher than it.

Nice Dog Gate for the Price

This gate works very well at the bottom of our stairs. Our Rusty has hip dysplasia and some back issues so he should not be using stairs. This gate allows us protection for him so he does not try and go up and down on them. The item was bent on one bar of the gate which looks like occurred in transit by the carrier since the box was damaged upon receipt. This, however, did not keep us from being able to use the gate. It is sturdy, looks nice, and opens and closes easily.

Swing Gate: Dog can open.

My 50 pound dog puts his feet on top of gate or pushes his nose through gate. His actions open gate. I like the appearance and concept for a smaller dog. I think a taller gate would be better.

Nice looking gate

Overall what I was expecting. Looks good and works well. My only issue was with the directions. Very small print and very ight ink. Hard to read for these older eyes.

Fantastic! Wheel chair friendly

Very happy with the gate, construction, instructions and value for the price. Easy to install, very adjustable to width, one of the few that would span 44" and was high enough to keep dog in. I used a screen door latch to keep it open when I don't want/need it closed. I'm in a wheelchair and it is easy to operate from my chair. Sorry site won'l let me upload photos.

Ughhhhhhh

I'm constantly adjusting the gate. No jam nuts are provided so the adjusting nuts are always working loose. Plus it is a pain to shut my on going battle!!!!

Can't use it

My 3-year-old German Shepard figured out how to unlatch the gate within the first week of using it. Now, it's like it isn't even there. Very expensive for it not to work.

Easy Open

I have tried several ways to keep dog and cat apart. This swing gate is by far the best I could have gotten. All of us are very pleased!
