We are always looking for the highest quality ingredients. We source our ingredients from North America when they are available, but there are some products that cannot be sourced from the United States in the level of quality our customers expect.
We use rosemary extract and a natural form of vitamin E called mixed tocopherols to keep the lipids (or fats) in our product from going bad. We also prevent microbial growth by carefully monitoring the moisture content in our treats. The combination of these 2 techniques leads to a 12 - 15 month shelf - life for most of our products.
If your pet eats more than the recommended amount of treats, it is possible that they could vomit, have diarrhea or have a distended belly depending on how many treats they ate. Keep a close eye on your pet and if they do not recover within 24 hours, call your veterinarian.Treats should account for only 10% of your pet’s daily diet. If your pet exceeds the recommended amount of treats just adjust your pet’s daily food intake to stay within your vet’s recommended daily kcals.
Our facility is located in Plano, TX.
We are proud to say that we have never had a product recall.
We think pets are sweet enough already! None of our products contain sugar, corn syrup or any other artificial sweeteners.
All pets are different and have different tastes. Some just like certain treats more than others. Please give another flavor of our treats a try!

Base this on if your ferret is a chewer to begin with, some are not, mine was. These were his favorite chew sticks. Dook in peace little Freddie Weasely.
It is the only treat one of my ferrets like. That says a lot.
My Ferrits didn't even bother with them. I won't buy again, but maybe other Ferrits enjoy them
These brand of treats are really bad and harmful for your ferrets. They are strict carnivores so they need meat only. Please read ingredients before deciding what to feed your ferret. These cause a lot of health problems in the future. I suggest Marshall freeze dried treats that only contain what’s advertised, along goes with any freeze dried treats. Just make sure it’s the meat itself and nothing else!!
My ferret won’t even touch these treats. They look pretty bland and feel like plastic sticks. I don’t recommend as it was a waste of my money.
My ferrets used to love these as well as the other flavor, however, starting in the late Fall/Winter they started being really hard when I open the bag. It's consistent so I'm unclear if the way it's made changed or something else. My ferrets can eat it (sometimes) and other times they do not and after gnawing on it for awhile they just walk away. Breaking a treat stick to give my ferrets has even broken my nail. It previous was softer and had more give and my ferrets could chew it a lot easier. I avoid buying the chicken ones now because of this. The salmon and bacon flavors still have that softer give and my ferrets really like them if you're looking for a treat that is not marshall.
I’ve ordered these multiple times and they come stale/hard everytime! >:(
This product is so inconsistent that I wish Chewy would do some sort of regular quality control and monitor these treats. More often than not, they are so dry and brittle that they are too dangerous to be safely given to the ferrets. I am sure the problem is with the manufacturer but should be addressed by Chewy, also, since they sell the product. I am still waiting for my refund.
I read that the sticks are not “good“ for ferrets, but I give each ferret one stick when I put them to bed at night and it keeps their teeth nice and clean. I stopped giving them the sticks when I read that they were bad and they got nasty plaque all over their teeth. My ferrets have all lived to be a ripe old age so I don’t believe these can be “bad” for them. And the best part is, they love these things! Especially the bacon flavor.
My ferrets want nothing to do with these treats. It's not that they're even aversive to them, they just don't even see them as treats. They'll devour literally anything I give them but again will ignore these treats.
