Chewing is a natural behavior for dogs so proper care of the teeth and gums start at a very early age. The teething period begins once the adult teeth start to come in, which causes pain and soreness in the teeth and gums. Chewing helps alleviate the pain and soreness but hard chew treats can damage or break immature teeth. Any damage or breakage to immature teeth can expose the nerve so the proper chew treat is critical to the development of teeth and gums. Puppy Teething Treats are flexible and pliable and safe for a teething puppy because the gummy or chewy texture of the treat will not break or damage immature teeth.
N-Bone Puppy Teething treats help relieve pain and soreness during the time in which your puppy gets their adult teeth.
They are completely edible and digestible, and have a pliable texture that massages sore gums and protects baby teeth.
They contain no plastic or rubber and are only 14 calories a piece.
Chicken flavor makes these highly palatable and they're low in fat so your pup won't put on extra weight.
These teething treats are likely too small and not tough enough for the typical recently adopted 8-16 week old puppy that really needs to bite something. But they are ideal for true baby puppies from 3-7 weeks who need a small, soft and flexible chew that fits in their little mouths and can massage their sore gums. I got them for a litter of eight 4-week-old Pointer mix puppies and they have lasted over two weeks and been a good thing to give a puppy that might otherwise use your finger. I am ordering another pack, and hope that will carry us all through until they are adopted and in their new homes where their permanent parents can buy them something bigger and more durable to gnaw on.
NOT FOR US

Let me start by saying that each furbaby is different. Owners have different opinions as well. I would say that these are For a very young puppy that is just beginning to teeth. For older puppies, I would not use these. From the picture, they look to be much bigger than they really are. These straws as I would call them (a little bigger than maybe two coffee stirrers put together), in my opinion, should not be used by active chewers or older pups. I personally will not buy these again. Glad I purchased the teething rings because they are bigger and will provide a longer chew time. The chewing time on these for Cocoa was about 2 minutes. Nothing against the concept but they should be Let me start by saying that each furbaby is different. Owners have different opinions as well. Big Hit for This Little Treat
on Oct 18, 2018
These tiny chews have been a huge hit with my 8-week old Shih Tzu puppy. I'd guess they would be perfect for any SMALL puppy. Any puppy over 8-10 #s would probably just eat them up in 2 bites.
My problem is keeping them away from my older dog who thinks that whatever the baby gets is really for her.
Be sure to keep an eye on your pup when they are enjoying this treat. I'm not sure how safe they are if they get too small. I always pick up the treat when my baby stops chewing on hers.
8 month old dog ate these too fast

I have an 8 month old dog that eats pretty much everything but he put these down in about 30 seconds. I was hoping they’d keep him occupied longer but they were very thin. These might be good for pickier dogs or really young puppies that can’t chew well yet but not the best buy if you’ve got a forever hungry dog. Points cause he clearly enjoyed them and quantity was great, and because I think he was just a little too old for these

My puppy loves these teething treats - she's going to be 3 and still loves only these treats. I would like to order these treats ONLY on Auto Ship. I want to receive 5 packages of these every 8 weeks. Please set this up for me. Thank you. Grammarilyn
Would only recommend for toy/small breed

We have a new lab pup who is just 7 weeks old, but even then these are way too small for him. The Naked brand of puppy dental teething chews are much more suited for him, so we will continue to use those, but will give these ones away to a friend with a toy breed puppy.
Great for little puppies

I bought these for my sons four or maybe five month old German Shephard, and once they arrived I realized they are really for younger puppies who are teething or for smaller bread puppies/dogs. Kona ate them and she really liked them but they are not enough for larger breeds.
Soft teething treats

My puppy is pretty aggressive so I love that these treats are soft. I get pretty scared of her hurting her teeth. She was able to devour one in about 10 minutes so I’m glad there are more than a handful in a bag.
My puppy loves these!

My puppy gets so happy when I give him one of these. He won't stop chewing it until it's all gone. It lasts about 10 minutes for him, but he is only 2.5 lbs. I wish they were able to last a little longer, but they are great regardless.
ideal for smaller dogs

i have a 3 month old corgi and he LOVES to chew. i bought these in hopes that it'd be a good distraction and also help his teething. i expected these treats to be a lot more bigger. he finished these really extremely quick. i believe this treat is ideal for small/petite dogs.
