Dental chews tend to be a bit hard so they're able to scrape off plaque while they chew.
What makes up the natural chicken flavor ingredient? My dog is allergic to chicken. Does it have any chicken resource in it?

The Natural Chicken Flavor blend incorporates Chicken Fat and other natural flavors to deliver a poultry taste. If your dog is allergic to chicken, we don't recommend choosing these treats.
Are these too big for 8-16 lbs Shih Tzu? They are super picky. I have tried many dental treats so far haven’t been successful

For the Small treats, small dogs between 10-15 pounds should be given 1 treat per day and small dogs between 15-30 pounds should be given 2 treats per day. For the Large treats, large dogs between 30-50 pounds should be given 1 treat per day and large dogs 50 pounds and up should be given 2 treats per day.
