What are these marinated with?

The Nandi bones are marinated in water, salt, garlic and rosemary. The golden color that you see is not from the marinade; Nandi achieve that golden color by smoking their bones with natural hardwood after drying them. The reason they smoke the bones is to preserve them naturally instead of using artificial preservatives or excessive salt.

Wonderful Chew

My 6 mo JRT loves these! She “borrowed” one at a neighbor’s house, so I ordered some for her. I was afraid they were too big or too tough, but she goes nuts over them! Great to keep her busy while I work.

Food Sensitivity

I bought these for my Boston Terrier Axels 5th birthday. He has food allergies so I got them as a special treat for the occasion. He hasn't chewed on it much but he's had a great time throwing it around and barking at it. I think it's worth the enjoyment he's gotten from it. Happy birthday Axel!!!

Ostrich Kneecap Love

This is the third time I've purchase ostrich hard bones for my pup (now pups) as she is a tough chewer, haven't found many hard bones that she wont chew through in less than a day if not 2. Out of the 3 times as well as different brands, my pup liked 2 out of the 3. From memory though, this was more reasonable expense wise & more accessible as it can be delivered straight to my door. My boyfriends pup is not as into harder toys however she has loved this ostrich bone as well! If your willing to get your hands a tad dirty, in the opening of each kneecap you will notice there is some very sticky residue inside (makes sense just like ours goo to lubricate those joints!). It was hard for the pups to get to that, loved the goo but also felt like too much of it all at once could be detrimental to their tummies as well. Therefore with the end of a scissor, I dug into the hole and will smear part of this white-ish/yellow lubricant onto the bone or at the ends & my pups will go to town! Definitely recommend giving it a go if your pup is a tough chewer, wants to avoid boredom or just wants to have fun!

I have 2 Basset hounds and bought these for my boy (and his brother) for his birthday! They latched onto these and have been chewing them for almost 2 hours. I think it’s safe to say they have a new favorite chew.

They are a hit!

My two greyhounds love these! I got them to hopefully help keep their teeth clean. One of my greyhounds has more of a tartar issue than the other, and I can't believe what a difference they have made already! Her teeth are much cleaner! For my dogs they are good for several chewing sessions, I just put them in the freezer between times to keep them fresh. When you add up how much dental cleanings cost at the vet, giving your dog these from time to time is a much better and safer deal!

Good and bad

I have 2 black labs who love their bones. These were very appealing to them. Flavor must have been great as they chewed on them until they were gone (about an hour or 2). Problem was that their stomachs really didn't like these so they gave them back. Won't buy again for my dogs, but for a moderate chewer these would be good. Hard chewers will just chomp right through them and they break into hard sharp pieces (not good for the pups).

Ostrich bone

It took a while for one of my dogs to even taste and chew on it. My other dog won't have any part of them. It might be because they are not beef bones.

Dogs Love Them!

My dogs love these. As soon as the box comes they know they are in there. They have a smoky smell which is much better to me than some of the other things out there for our pups to chew. My dog Scout goes crazy for these.
