Pump omega oil over main meal. 1 pump (1/2 tsp) for every 10 lbs of body weight; (40 lb=4 pumps).
I was shocked how much this oil changed my dog’s fur. After a week her fur became so soft and puffy, she shades less, just so pretty! Not only I noticed that, lots of our friends noticed this as well so you can imagine how big the changes are. She had seasonal allergies and always chew on her paws, so the coat on her paws became sheer and the skin is visible. After finishing a bottle of this oil, her paws are covered with soft, thick beautiful fur. I don’t think the smell is strong.. my dog loves the taste of it as well. I couldn’t recommend this enough!!!
Sonny and Sahara have both been using this supplement according to the directions and I believe they have both made progress in their skin and coat. Sahara has severe yeast and bacteria infection all over her body and she's also taking medications for this. Sonny though has been taking this plus fresh eggs and BK Pets bone broth with King lou's. However since adding this on top of everything else I do think his dandruff has gotten better and he feels softer.
We have a 10 week old Golden Retriever so we are still basking in the naturally soft puppy fur! But we use this omega oil with his food and I didn't think his puppy fur could get any softer..It is also great because we dab a little bit of it on his teething toys and he will play with them for hours! Highly Recommend!
My little dog absolutely loves a pump of this omega oil on her morning kibble. Just for taste alone, it's a winner. She is 5 years old, and I got it as for a supplement for her coat. It does seem like she is chewing her paws less, but I've only been using it a couple of weeks, so it is too soon to tell. As she is heartily eating her kibble I tell her to imagine that she is an Alaskan working dog eating a salmon, she loves it so much and tell her she is a super dog.
My dog actually has no problem at all eating his kibble when I add this oil to it, but the smell just bothers me. Especially after my dog licks his body or anything else (bed, couch, paws, etc.), the smell of the oil is there. It’s not a super strong scent nor does it smell very fishy (I actually don’t think it smells like fish at all), but I just don’t wanna have to worry about that when I know other products like Iceland Pure are 100% odor free.
We heat the house with a wood stove in the winter, and it dries everyone's skin out, especially Liberty's. We decided to try to add this to her mealtime, and so far we have seen an amazing improvement in her skin. She isn't as flakey and dry, and overall seems happier and healthier too! Two paws up from Liberty!
I wanted to try this because I noticed my pup has been itching more lately, also I wanted to add something yummy to her food to make her want to eat it. I've only been using it for a few days, so I've yet to see a difference with the itching or with her coat. But I am optimistic! She actually loves the taste of it too! All in all I'm super happy with the product and will definitely keep using it!
I first gave this to my mini aussie on Friday afternoon and by Sunday morning she had liquid bowel movements. I started her at half the recommended dose just to get her used to it even. Do not recommend if your pet tends to have sensitive stomach! I will go back to using the Zesty Paws skin & coat chews as she loved those and had no issues.
This oil does work well, but unfortunately I’m not sure if there is a reason why, but whenever I use the product, my dog gets diarrhea. As much as I would love for my dog to have a nice coat, it’s not worth her having to poop every hour. I’m not sure if they gave me a bad batch. But I would have loved for this not to cause that.
Just got my pup from the shelter and recommended to add omega oil by a dog owner with a shiny coated pooch. Within two days I’ve noticed her coat be shinier and smoother. Gladly she’s a shelter doggo and eats everything , so no issues with smell and being bougie. Highly recommend, no more visible dandruff like I noticed before.
