Great chew quality off
I gave this to my super chewer dog and he loved it. Was hesitant at first but once he got the hang of it he had half of it gone in 30 minutes. I took the other half away and saved it for the crispy version. I made the leftover end crispy (according to the bag-45 mins in microwave) and before giving it to my dog I wanted to see what the inside looked like so I cut the crispy leftover in half only to find a BUG inside of the yak chew. I am sure my dog would have been fine had he eaten it but I find this to be gross and takes away from the quality of these chews. Wish I would have taken a picture of it.
Kinda pricey but worth it!
These were the first yak chews I ever bought and still the best of any others I’ve tried. I feel like they are a bit expensive but definitely worth it, long lasting and not brittle like some other brands I’ve tried.
My dog is in love
I have a miniature dachshund that loves to ruin all his stuff and will chew through anything. He loves this product, has been chewing on it for a while and has barely made a dent in it. The amount of chews you get for the price of this is awesome and I will definitely order more in the future.
Our pup loves these long-lasting chews!
I was surprised to read reviews from dog owners who said their pups ate the whole thing in an hour. We have a high-energy Aussie pup who's a major chewer and it is day two of her working on one of the large chews. She has spent a few hours each day going to town on it, and it's the first time we've observed her hiding a treat when she takes a break. We've found it in the couch, behind her bed, and now she ripped a hole in the corner of her bed to hide it there. She must think it's really special! And it is still more than halfway intact! I plan to always have one of these on hand to keep her occupied when we can't be physically active with her.
11 month old Aussie LOVES these
I was looking for something that would keep my 11 month old Aussie mix busy while I did things around the house. We’ve tried other Native Pet products and loved them so decided to give these a try. The puppy absolutely LOVES them! It will keep him busy for 1-1.5 hours at a time and a medium chew lasts him 2-3 days so far. Wish I could buy these in bulk
Didn't last
I got these having heard that they lasted longer than other chews, such as bones, bully sticks, and kongs, and I was looking for a way to keep my energetic staffy occupied for a long time while I'm working from home. It only took her an hour to eat the whole thing! Thankfully she didn't get sick but I will not be purchasing any more of these as I'm sure that can't be good for her. If it sounds too good to be true for your chew enthusiast, it probably is.
Great for Active Chewers
They last a while, so if you're looking for something for a big chewer (puppies), this is for them. I like that the ingredients are limited. I also like how they're so different than other chewies out there.
Obsessed!!!
My boys love these chews. They are super long lasting and keep them busy and happy. We have tried other yak chews but these are definitely their favorite. Once it’s almost done I throw it in the microwave and it gets nice and crunchy for a special treat!
Fantastic for tough chewers
I have two large dogs that I adopted from my local shelter. Both are extremely heavy chewers who can shred up any level of toy in a couple of minutes. Because both of my dogs are large, and they really aren't fans of me brushing their teeth, Yak shoes are my go to to ensure that my dog's teeth are clean. The best part of these Native Pet Yak chews, is that once my dogs have chewed the product down to a small knob, I can soak it in water for 5 to 10 minutes, and then place it in the microwave and wait for it to turn into a giant cheese puff. This concept is fantastic to me, especially because there is no product waste, and no risk of choking or intestinal blockage.s Overall I have been a fan of Native Pet for a while now, and I will continue to support the brand as they constantly exceed my expectations. If you have not tried these chews for your pets I suggest highly that you give them a try !
Truly the best long-lasting chew!
I have tried so many chews to keep my 4 dogs entertained and nothing has worked like these yak chews! These are incredible! My doggies are big chewers and these have lasted for weeks now!! And the best part for me is that there is no mess. No smell, no stickiness, just pure enjoyment! Love love love these!!
