    Helped some

By Floridana on Aug 22, 2021

One of my cats who is approximately 8 years old had started licking his tummy and inner thighs a lot to the point where he was almost bald in those areas. He was also scratching the areas above his eyes and the back of his neck. He is a strictly indoor cat and has no fleas. After trying some different foods to see if he had an allergy, he was no better and seemed to be getting worse with excoriations on his tummy from the constant licking. I took him to the vet and she suspected he had a urinary tract infection but was unable to verify it because his bladder was empty when I took him in and they were not able to get a sample. She did give him a shot of Convenia (antibiotic) and a shot of One of my cats who is approximately 8 years old had started licking his tummy and inner thighs a lot to the point where he was almost bald in those areas. She did give him a shot of Convenia (antibiotic) and a shot of Depo-Medrol (steroid) and after that he seemed to do better, was not messing with his belly much and the excoriations on his belly healed up. However, a few weeks later he started messing with his belly again and I really did not want to go back to the vet so I figured I would try to find something natural for the urinary tract to see if it would help Spot. I found this product and decided to try it. I sprinkled the contents of one pill on his food. He is a big boy, about 17 pounds, but I did not feel comfortable giving him 2 pills so I only gave him one. He refused to eat the food. It is supposed to be turkey flavored but it looks like he did not care for it. I had to throw it out and give him some more food without it. I then tried to put the pill down his throat and that did not go well. Like I said, he is a big boy and he scratched me while struggling with me. I did get one pill down. The next day I decided to put the pill whole in his food hoping he would not notice and eat the pill along with the dry food. He ate the food and left the pill. Fortunately I had some FortiFlora probiotic which I had been giving him which he seems to like the flavor of very much and I took the pill, rinsed it in water so the FortiFlora would stick to it, put it in his dish with the food and put FortiFlora on the whole thing and he ate the food and the pill this time. I repeated this daily for a couple of weeks and Spot did seem to improve and was messing with his belly much less. It looks like his hair is growing back in now and I have stopped giving him the pills. Hopefully he will be fine now. … more

    Magic! From dribble to river...

By Meowtastic on Mar 8, 2021

Sir Kitty had himself one of them good 'ol fashioned bladder infections. He let me know by dropping a pea sized tinkle on the dog's toy. Then raced to the litter box throughout the day to deposit, well, not much more than a dime of urine. He ate (he's a piglet in a cat's body), he drank water, he zoomed around after dust bunnies as per usual. I knew it was just a UTI and wanted to try this product before spending a pretty penny at the vet. Worked Like Magic!! In 3 days, Sir Kitty was back to flooding the litter box with his pee. The straining & licking stopped. No more frequent visits to the box, no more marking the dog's toys, he was back to normal and seemed to have more energy. The pills are very easy to give as he let's me open his mouth. I just set one in the back of his throat and he swallowed the pill, no problem. On day 1, I didn't notice an odor, but by the 7th day of this pill, his urine did have an herbal odor. I stopped giving the pills after 7 days and the odor has subsided. There are plenty of pills left in case the UTI resurfaces. But it's been a few days since I stopped giving the pills and he's just fine. I highly recommend this product once you've determined it's only a UTI (please check with your VET). … more
