Adult cats: Adult cats should be fed either once or twice per day. When you first start feeding Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® Green Pea & Chicken Dry Cat Food, we suggest to start with the amounts recommended in the table. The amount of food should always be adjusted to suit your cat’s needs. If you would like to provide a special treat for your cat, you can add small amounts of Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® Chicken & Green Pea Canned Cat Food. Gestating and Lactating Queens: Gestating and lactating queens will consume more food, usually an additional 1/2 - 2 daily. Older cats: As your cat begins to age, his energy expenditure will decrease. Decreasing the amount of food accordingly will allow for the maintenance of proper body weight for your less active cat. Older cats are sometimes more reluctant to eat hard foods. Adding larger amounts of Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® Chicken & Green Pea Canned Cat Food will help the most "finicky" eater enjoy their daily meals.

These feeding guidelines are suggested only. Feeding amounts may vary by breed, activity level, temperament and climate. Amounts are recommended for an average cat with normal activity.

We recommend that you do not add vitamins, minerals or any other supplements, except upon the advice of a veterinarian. The maintenance of proper body weight is most important for your cat’s health. Consult your veterinarian for specific weight recommendations for your cat. Remember, fresh clean water should be available at all times!

Transition Instructions

When switching your cat’s diet, the change should be made gradually, by replacing the current food with increasing portions of Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® Green Pea & Venison Dry Cat Food. The change should be completed after 5 - 7 days.

    No more skin reactions!

    By on

I have 2 Sphynx cats. I had previously used another brand for sensitive skin salmon flavored etc. For months no problems. Then one of them developed a rash. Almost like a heat rash. I researched on sphynx groups and ALOT of the owners suggested switching for to this. I am so glad I did! Not only do they both love this food, the rash on sweet Minnie has gone away. She looks better than she has in forever. It amazes me that this food has made a difference in their skin like it has! So hairless cat owners if you are on the fence about this food, get it! You won’t regret it!! My babies love it!!

    No reaction to this!

    By on

My cat has reacted to everything I've given her. One of her lips swells up each time I try something else. Best of all, she will eat this by herself each time when her lip heals. Looks like it's venison for my kitten so far. I noticed her hair thinning behind her ears at just ten weeks. No one suspected anything until she just refused to eat all the sudden. The chicken was the worse for her allergies and mostly everything has chicken in it. So glad to have found this food. I can't get her to eat the soft version yet but maybe when she's older. She's 6.5 months now and has caught up in her weight.

    L.I.D. cat food

    By on

My two cats were put on this diet by the vet. The transition from junk food to healthy food took a couple of weeks. I highly recommend this food.

    Not for picky eaters!

    By on

Bought it because my vet said to try it due to Kitty having food allergies, but she will not eat it unless it's mixed with her other food which defeats the whole purpose for buying it!

    Kitty loved it

    By on

Our cat has been having an allergic reaction to her previous food and the vet recommend this, so far she loves it and seems to be helping. Only complaint I have is that it took over a week to get her, but I believe that was a FedEx issue not a chewy issue.

Liked better than the wet food

    By on

I used this as a dietary reset for my kitty with food sensitivities. I was surprised he enjoyed the dry food better than the wet food.

Who knew cats would like venison?

    By on

My cats normally eat the green peas and duck formula, but they get bored from time to time. They eat this one like there is no tomorrow! I have one cat with a sensitive stomach and this food doesn't cause any issues for him.
