    Great all around dog food!

By Cathy on Oct 18, 2021

I fed this to my allergic to everything Doberman and it worked wonders for her. Years later I have a sensitive tummy German Shepherd and I give this to him because the brand and food works wonders! I will never go to another store named brand. As for the person who poorly rated because they gave this to their dog as their flavor was not available; you cannot change dogs food like that and NOT expect any dog to be gassy. It has to be gradual so they adjust.

    You can trust this brand!

By JazminesMom on Jul 1, 2021

I've fed Natural Balance to my labs for about 7 years, at the recommendation of our vet. For years I bought Venison and Sweet Potato. I noticed this year that the formula changed to "Sweet Potato and Venison"...sweet potatoes moved to the #1 ingredient. At the same time, the venison price increased. I decided to switch to chicken, and chose this one because I thought my lab would enjoy the "large breed bites". She has been eating this exclusively for several months, and I've realized that the majority of her fungal skin issues have stopped. She has yeasty skin that I treat with special shampoo and topicals, with success as long as I stay on top of it (for 4 years now). She has yeasty skin that I treat with special shampoo and topicals, with success as long as I stay on top of it (for 4 years now). But she went an entire winter and spring with only one medicated shampooing and her itching has decreased from constant all day to occasional. Maybe the sweet potatoes in her system were fueling the yeast? This brand is high quality, keeps her gut happy, her skin happy, her poops happy (one or two healthy poops per day, as opposed to volumes and volumes of smelly poops when we once tried a different brand). It is recommended by my personal vet and by the AKC. I appreciate that when one flavor isn't working for her, I can switch to another flavor within the same brand and trust that it is the flavor and not the brand that is affecting her. … more

Got it because they were out of my regular food

By Jess on Jun 8, 2021

Got it because they were out of my regular food. It was the closest thing-same brand and large breed bites-I waited until I was almost out and had to order before I ran out. It has given my dog the worst gas.

    perfect for my allergic dog

By Laura on Apr 26, 2021

I was spending hours roasting whole chickens and boiling rice for my dog who couldn't seem to tolerate any dry food. Then my vet told me about limited ingredient diets. My dog enthusiastically eats it with no side effects. I recommend this brand highly.

My dog went to "doggie heaven" February 01,2021.

By Savo on Feb 10, 2021

Sad to say, the food was given away, unopened. I have used it before, my Vet. said that "it was one that "she liked". I have purchased this before...but no longer will need any kind of dog food.
