Less lethargic, more energetic and hasn't vomited in the mornings since feeding him this Natural Balance LID. We've been able to determine that beef and lamb are less tolerated than his allergy testing revealed. Our next order contains Bison (Buffalo) and we're hoping it will be a good alternative to the beef. We rotate his diet with Tylee by Chewy. And after 2 bags of salmon, he did really well. It didn't hit us that although he isn't allergic to beef, he definitely has an intolerance to it. We were 3 days into his Tylee beef rotation and he started vomiting. We always thought his occasional morning bouts of vomiting had to do with needing to eat earlier than we were feeding. But he always had undigested food. Then one night he vomited right after eating his beef dinner. That's when we wondered if all this time, he just couldn't tolerate beef and we had missed the clues. We also would not have noticed this had he vomited after eating salmon, but he never did. So after 1 case of this venison and sweet potato, I tested him with another brand with lamb. 3 days in, his was back to his miserable self. Took 2 days of the venison to get him back to looking and feeling good. No vomiting at all. Thank you for creating this product, and to Chewy for carrying it. … more

Dogs refused to eat for three days

By michij on May 30, 2019

Unfortunately our furbabies DO NOT LIKE this wet food. We feed our dogs dry Blue Buffalo Lamb and rice mixture and always mix with wet food as my elderly female needs softer kibble. We tried three different wet food varieties (ordered 12 pack cans of each) and this one they flat out refused to eat. I Unfortunately our furbabies DO NOT LIKE this wet food. We tried three different wet food varieties (ordered 12 pack cans of each) and this one they flat out refused to eat. I was worried we switched the food up on them too much, but we received a delivery yesterday of a different wet food we tried in the trial period...and after three days of refusing to eat this brand they inhaled their food. Super bummer because the vitamins and ingredients were exactly what I was looking for, and I could actually smell the sweet potato as I opened the can. That being said for some reason I cannot explain my dogs refused to eat this for three days. Could be consistency as it's quite grainy. But my dogs didn't eat for three days until I eliminated it. … more
