I bought this for my dog as there are minimal ingredients and looks as healthy as they get. One star for that and the fact that it came in perfect condition and has plenty of shelf life left. Unfortunately, my dog would not even sniff it for a moment. He has refused it vehemently, not even falling for it after a tiring walk in the afternoon sun. So, I gave the rest of the bag to my neighbor. The neighbor's pup eats this (hence two stars), but if he had another option, he would choose the other. I'm not sure why they don't find this appealing.
Incorrect Nutrition Info

My Shepherd mix girl enjoys these treats. According to the nutrition information provided here on Chewy each treat is 15 calories. According to the package, each treat is 40 calories. Pretty big discrepancy!

My dog looks forward to getting a few of these treats every day for her snack. They are nice and crunchy so they are good for her teeth. The lite limited ingredients are a healthy choice too.
Finally a treat for allergic dogs!!!
on Apr 1, 2018
We recently had our weimaraner allergy tested and of course she is allergic to ingredients in most dog foods. We had been using Kong treats in her Kong during crate time and found out she was allergic to all flavors - it was the chicken. We received a listing from the allergy testing company with this treat listed as one she should tolerate. We tried it and it fits in her Kong without any problem. She loves them!! Just wish there were more flavors without sweet potatoes or peas. Will still have to try the Potato and Duck formula.
CAN WE TAKE OUT THE SUGAR(MOLASSES) FROM THESE?
on Apr 18, 2018
In a time where dogs by the age of 5 are manifesting signs of dental disease, can we please take steps NOT TO ACCELERATE the process? Dogs love lamb & and do not need the molasses to entice them. As a microbiologist, even the smallest amount of sugars-natural or otherwise will encourage the growth of undesirable bacteria in the mouth of dogs as well as humans.
Not a hit.

These treats have a strange, chemical smell to them. My dog even hesitates on eating them. Will not purchase again.
Yum Yum. Good grub for our allergy-prone canine.

Max cannot eat gluten or poultry (even poultry byproducts). Finally a treat all 3 can eat PLUS the same food he ate while in rescue. Delivered to our door and for less than we paid at the store. Plus free shipping when we but treats in the same order.
Chewy--you cann't be beat!
Natural Balance versus Milk Bone
on Aug 30, 2017
We have three Old English Sheepdogs and the breed is known for their sensitive stomachs. We had been giving them Milk Bone treats but at times they would give them all sorts of stomach problems. Switched to these Natural Balance treats and all symptoms went away thankfully.
Tasty treat for a finicky eater.

I went through a number of foods and treats before my dog ate these treats with enthusiasm.
