The amounts in the table are intended as guidelines only. The food intake should be adjusted according to the age, weight and activity of your dog. It is important for your dog's health to maintain a proper body weight. Consult a veterinarian for specific weight recommendations. Puppies, and Pregnant or Nursing Females, require 2 - 3 times the Adult amounts. A reduction in food intake is recommended for less active and older dogs. Serve at room temperature. Any unused portion should be covered and refrigerated. Fresh clean water should be available at all times!
'When switching your pet's diet, we recommend transitioning from the current diet to any new Natural Balance Formula over a 5 - 7 day period.
Day 1 - 2: 25% Natural Balance Formula, 75% Current Pet Formula Day 3 - 4: 50% Natural Balance Formula, 50% Current Pet Formula Day 5 - 6: 75% Natural Balance Formula, 25% Current Pet Formula Day 7: 100% Natural Balance Formula
If you do not have any of your current formula to mix, reduce the amount of formula fed for the first few days, feeding smaller more frequent meals over time. If your pet is more sensitive to change, please allow 10 - 14 days to fully transition onto the new formula.

My dog is a 15-pound Italian Greyhound. Older. He's been eating this stuff for years. Likes it - he can be finicky. Also, this is friendly to his system.

My old dog gets truly excited when I feed her this food- almost as excited as the time she stole and ate a container of chocolate covered coffee beans. She was REALLY excited then.

No pull tabs on these cans

A lot of dented cans in the mix. Some of them were unable to be opened with a can opener. Sent the company a complaint about not having pull tabs for each can. We have to additionally wash the can opener after each use, this is very inconvenient as most wet canned food company have pull tabs to open.

Dented food cans

I placed an order for 5 dozen cans to be delivered on a recurring basis. When the first shipment arrived, it came in 5 one dozen pre-wrapped boxes. The first dozen seemed fine but in the 2nd dozen, 6 of the 12 cans were dented. I assumed at first that the box had been dropped but some of the cans were dented in the middle of the package in such a way that led me to believe they were dented before they were placed in the box and wrapped with plastic. I cancelled my recurring order and will purchase locally from now on so that I can inspect before I purchase. Other than that, it’s been a satisfactory experience. The product arrives quickly. Great for seniors

I feed this to two of my seniors - one straight out of the can and the other mixed with water and dry food. Both dogs have clean empty bowls in no time!
