Two happy dogs!
My 9 years old maltipoo was raised with this vegan formula. The vet recommended this formula because she was having diarrhea with several dog formulas I've tried. As soon as she started having the Natural Balance Vegan formula her stool was solid. She is a healthy senior, and never had any health problems. My 6 months new puppy is also having this formula and is growing strong and fast. I add some sweet potato, brown rice and peas occasionally. Highly recommend it!
won’t buy anymore
They used to have a 28 lb bag for less than they are selling this now smaller bag. It’s also now plastic from the looks of it so not recyclable or planet friendly. Very disappointing. If you need to raise the prices that one thing but to raise them on top of taking away pounds of food that’s not okay.
Our picky pup likes it!
Our girl can be a bit picky when it comes to her kibble, but she really likes this one! (we previously fed her v-dog) While I know people feel very strongly one way or the other if dogs should be vegan, we have found that she is thriving on vegan food, and our vet agrees. I like the ingredients in this kibble, and the price isn't prohibitive like some other brands can be. If you're looking for a great vegan kibble for your pup, try this one!
Gemma loves it
My American bulldog was having a lot of skin and digestion issues as a pup so the vet recommended Purina vegetarian dog food but it was so expensive so I started to research dog foods and this was most comparable and all her issues was resolved, it’s not as expensive. The pebbles are smaller, easier to chew no more diarrhea or bad smelling gas just a happier fur baby. She’s now seven and very healthy tipping the scales a 106 but she’s all muscle, vets very impressed when we visit for our yearly check up. Very happy fur momma
Rocco loves his food!
My Rocco is 100% vegan and this food is great for him! Not only do we feed Rocco but we also use this (wet & frozen) in his Kong as treats…..with a little peanut butter on top! Our vet says that Rocco is one healthy puppy!
Smaller bag, bigger price tag...
My Rottie loves this food and does great on it. He has allergies so it was recommended by our veterinarian. I hate that they made the bag smaller and raised the price.
Healthy Dog Loves It
Love this product ! Great affordability when comparing to meat based counterparts. My 80 pound rescue boxer mix is still his same energetic and healthy self after switching, which is confirmed by our vet. Not to mention he gobbles it up :) better for him, other animals, the planet, and myself!!
Rebrand = less food for more $
They turned this into a limited ingredient rebrand which now means a smaller bag for higher price tag. My dogs do great on this food but it is tough on the pocketbook!
Doxies hate it
I am vegan and wanted to switch my dogs over to a non-animal based product. Unfortunately, this was an expensive mistake. The only way I can get my dogs to eat it is to coat it in canned soft food or gravy. I wish I could get a refund.
