Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Read entire label before each use. Use only on dogs.

  1. Spray entire animal, including legs and paws. Stroke the animal's coat against the lay while spraying to make sure the solution reaches the skin. Spray until entire coat is damp.
  2. Do not apply directly to eyes, mouth or nose of the animal.
  3. To help solution penetrate to the skin, spray and work into the coat.
  4. Dry with towel if desired.
  5. In addition to pet; spray on dog bedding that may be infested, making sure adequate product is used to cover areas where fleas may be hiding. Contacting fleas with product is required to achieve results.
  6. Repeat as necessary, but not more often than at 3-day intervals.

    Doesn’t work

“Kills on contact”..... not true.. I sprayed two fleas picked them off kept them floating in a puddle of the “flea killer”. Had to revert to smashing them. Product is a waste of money..

It works but dear god does it smell

    By on

So... I sprayed the bedding first and wow did this stuff take my breath away. I am pretty sure I could have just sprayed gasoline, kerosene, and acetone on the bedding and it would have smelled better. I felt so bad spraying and brushing my dog with this but.... it kills on contact.. fleas just fell off. So it works... but please do it in a ventilated area and then bathe your baby in something that smells better.

    Always happy with this product

I use this in my car, on bedding (my own and the pets) and directly on my pets! When I had a flea problem I'd sit and use a comb to comb the fleas out(the only true way to get them all) and spray them with this stuff and I'd would kill them right away. Works on dogs and cats and if more of a natural product. Also smells good.

Although I love Chewy.com, this product did not work to get rid of fleas.

    By on

I think Chewy.com is an excellent site with excellent products. I prefer to go as natural as possible and purchased Natural Chemistry DeFlea Pet and Bedding Spray for fleas on my dog. I also used their flea shampoo. I used as directed and consistently and ended up having to use an unnatural product - drops that are put on the back of a dog to rid the pet of fleas. Not ridding my dog of fleas immediately was, I think, not good, as fleas get into the carpet and furniture - and seem to live forever!

Kills fleas but not on contact/ dries pet's skin

    By on

I have sprayed this on my dog and rubbed it in like it says on the bottle. It does seem to stupefy the fleas enough that I can take it off her, but does not kill on contact as it claims. Also when it dries, he fur feels coarse and dirty; she also gets very dry skin from it. I now just spray it in the bed and not on her. Dawn soap works better.
