How does this work if they are swallowing it?
Answer by • Aug 27, 2020
Dental Cleanse contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate and Grapefruit Seed Extract - ingredients with antibacterial, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, effective in the elimination of the bacteria that cause bad breath and gingivitus. A drink of water treated with Dental Cleanse attacks this bacteria thus helping to prevent and heal gingivitus, remove plaque and tartar, and in turn, freshen breath.
Can I use this with my one and a half gallon self waterer? I have four cats that share the water, will it is be good for them all?
Answer by • Mar 07, 2020
This product is recommended to use with still water. When used with a waterer, there is a chance any included filter will filter out the ingredients needed to keep your furbaby's teeth clean.
what are the ingredients?
Answer by • Jun 01, 2019
The ingredients in this are deionized water, grapefruit seed extract, chlorhexidine gluconate, zinc gluconate.
I don't see any expiration date. After opening, how long before this product expires?
Answer by • Apr 15, 2020
The expiration date will be printed on the bottle. Every expiration date will be different for each jar, as different batches are constantly being produced.
My cat hated this. Thankfully he has 2 different water sources because he refuses to drink out of the one that I put this in, even after I stopped using it. I don't know why, as it seems to have no scent, but he just won't touch his water if I use this.

Didn't work. Used the whole bottle over a month. Didn't do anything. Very disappointed and won't buy again.

One of two prongs
I started this and TevraPet brush free gel at the same time, about 2 mos ago, in an attempt to reverse or place into hold gingivitis in my young cat (no face to face with vet during Covid seems non-productive and if we can wait we will). She’s drinking treated water w/o hesitation. No fishy breath. Red line at gums is still there but less puffy / inflamed. It seems to be of benefit but not super cure; I’ll keep up with it. Appreciate the limited ingredients.

No more cat breath with this stuff. Really works. Second time purchasing this. Cats cant taste it and it removes any nasty food breath from their mouth. Love it,

Apparently not very tasty
Yes, it works. My baby's breath IS a lot better but does not like the taste. Will drink but ONLY if I make sure there is absolutely no other water source he can get to

Kittens weren’t satisfied
Have two kittens and neither wanted to drink the water. After a while I had to leave a 3rd regular bowl of water and they only drank that.
