Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

my puppy climbed up a shelving unit and got this bottle of cat flea spray. I am sure some got in her mouth. I snatched her up and pried open her mouth and used the sprayer on my sink to pry open her mouth and flush it. should I worry?
Answer by ChewyJan 26, 2018
We'd recommend immediately consulting with your vet, the instructions state to keep out of reach of children and pets.

Where is the list of ingredients and percentages?
Answer by ChewySep 24, 2020
This formula contains 1.20% Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, 0.10% Cinnamon Oil, 0.25% Cedar Wood Oil, 0.10% Clove Oil, Water, and Vanillin (benzaldehyde, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxy).

My cats (as probably all cats) lick themselves several times a day. Are these ingredients safe for them to ingest? I have read many conflicting reports on the Internet.
Answer by ChewyNov 14, 2019
It is recommended to allow the spray to fully dry before allowing your pet to groom themselves.

Can I use this product on my cats if I have applied the spot behind the neck flea treatment?
Answer by ChewyMar 11, 2021
Natural Chemistry cannot recommend using their products with other flea medications. Consult with your veterinarian prior to using multiple flea treatments.

Works great!

My cat only had a few fleas as he only stays inside. After the first use, I didn’t see any and the scent of these essential oils are wonderful.

Smells like cinnamon

This product smells like cinnamon. It goes on easy and cat fur feels fine once dry. Using this, cat flea collars, and an ENOZ flea trap to clear them from the house. After just 2 days of using all 3 and the pest are almost gone.

Natural chemistry topical flea spray

Worked great on initial spraying and I wash able to comb dead fleas immediately after but did not continue killing the fleas. Was a one shot deal.

Works on Infestation

I didn't know until I moved in but I moved in to a full carpeted house w/ a flea infestation. I tried the baking soda and salt mixture, had a pro come and sprayed the carpets twice and I could still walk down my hallway and would get a minimum of 6 fleas on my white socks. I sprayed my cat with the topical spray and carpets with the upholstery one, heavily and holy cow there was a tremendous reprieve. But I dont think it takes care of eggs so I fogged my house almost 2 weeks after using the spray and havent had a problem since. I think using these in combination with the fogger, spaced apart was the best choice.

Does what it says!

Great product, does what it says, we also spritz a bit on to the inside of the cats collar. Arrived in ziplock back inside one of Chewys amazing strong shipping boxes, no mess! I like that it is a natural product safe for our kittens. Highly recommend!

Very effective!

My partner and I purchased this spray to use since our cats had a few lingering fleas after a flea treatment and we wanted something less hard on our cats and our wallets than a strong chemical pesticide. This has worked wonderfully, I have only sprayed it directly on our cats once but I use it on the house weekly and I haven’t seen a flea since.

I'm not 100% sure of this product's effectiveness but it does have a good clean herbal/spice smell. I keep pillow cases on my cat beds to keep hair and dirt off them and when I change the pillow cases I give a generous squirt to the clean pillow case. The cat's have no problem with the fragrance.I haven't seen dead fleas but I haven't seen live fleas either. I have purchased this more than once.

Works for me

I'm amazed to read how this didn't work for others, because it killed them (fleas) dead on the spot as soon as I dowsed them in it

smells nice, but doesn't work

I was super excited to have found something natural to put on my cats. Applying it was as easy as it can be when dealing with a cat. They didnt like it but they tolerated it better than a bath. The frustrating part was after putting them through this and having cinnamon-smelling cats in the house for days, they still had live fleas on them.
