Make cleaning up after your kitty a simple task with Naturally Fresh Walnut-Based Quick-Clumping Cat Litter. Made from 100% natural walnut shells, it produces tight clumps in as little as 15 minutes, so they do not stick to the litter box. This absorbent formula works three time better than clay and is biodegradable for an eco-friendly option. Free of silica dust for paw-tners or pet parents with respiratory problems, this litter doesn’t stick to your furry friend’s paws to reduce tracking. Naturally Fresh Walnut-Based Quick-Clumping Cat Litter also contains no chemicals, toxins, clay, corn and grains for the safety of your companion.

Start by placing one to two inches of Naturally Fresh Litter in a clean cat litter box. Top dress with enough of your current cat litter to cover Naturally Fresh Multi-Cat Quick-Clumping Litter. Each time you change the litter, reduce the amount of your current litter.
It typically takes one or two changes for most cats to be comfortable with a new litter. Repeat reducing the amount of your current litter if needed.

I really do like this litter - natural, very little dust, lightweight & clumps fairly well. Perhaps it is the natural fragrance of walnut shells in large quantities since it is labeled unscented, but this litter has a pretty strong, and might I add, unexpected scent. It is by no means "perfume-y", but it definitely has a scent. My more temperamental and less amenable to change kitty was rather put off by it for a day or two - even when mixing it with his familiar litter. After about a week, he is now using it just fine, but it is currently still mixed with some of his other litter. Despite the scent, which may help with odor control as it is pretty good with that, it is a cat momma and kitty approved litter.
Owned cats 30 years and presently have five adult cats. Very pleased with the results of no odor, easy to clean, very low dust and tracking except when one throws litter out of the box and economical. The only drawback is if any cat has a medical problem which could be noticed in the color of the feces it wouldn't be noticeable since I've had experience with one cat that had liver problems that made feces a grayish color. Love all natural!
I used the lightweight litter for the longest time but in the last year or two the quality has gone down. It became the dustiest litter I’ve ever had in my house. My cat was coming out of the litter box with dust crusted in her nose because she’d been breathing it while covering up her business. Well, that had to stop. So I bought bag after bag of various litter types, trying to find something that would work and that my cat liked. This walnut litter is working out beautifully. It’s far less dusty than the previous brand, the smell is nice, and my cat has a clean nose (and lungs) when exiting the box. Recommended. Four paws, four stars.
Through trying many many different kinds of litter, here is what i learned. NO litter is perfect in every area. Either it doesnt clump the way it says its supposed to, or there is dust, or it doesnt cover up the odor, tracking, ect. If odor is the main issue, its more than likely due to diet. If your feeding commercial grade cat food, I would not recommend this litter as it prob wont help with odor. I would go with fresh step. My cats are on a raw diet now and this works fairly well. There is no odor. The only thing it doesnt do which is not a deal breaker for me is form completely tight clumps 100% of the time, no litter does. I love that its natural, I love that there is little to no dust, this paired with the stainless steel littler pan = easy cleaning, highly recommend. My cats seem to enjoy it too but they have never really been picky about their litter.
Great non clay based clumping litter. Much lighter than clay, equally absorbent and clumping, order absorbing and doesn't turn into mud that sticks to the cats paws and leaves tracks. Highly recommend, and if you're in a position to do it, fully compostable! Unlike clay it will break down over time. Great Stuff!
I have tried dozens of litter. Thus is my absolute favorite. Easy to scoop, no clouds when filling box, little tracking and what there is is brown so doesn't stand out on floor and is easy to vacuum. Cinder loves it and she hates the feel of crystals.
I initially liked the smell when I opened the bag and I really liked the idea of a natural litter. But oh my goodness, it is the dustiest litter I have ever used. When I scoop the litter box I feel like I should be wearing a mask, and that's not an exaggeration, I started wearing one because it was just too much to breath in
If you can get past the copious amount of dust, this is actually one of the best litters out there. It's clumps exceptionally well, covers the smell of urine and poop really really well (if your kitty covers its poop), and it has average tracking. My husband and I vacuum once/twice a week and it prevents too much of litter build up on our carpeted floors. When it comes to the dust, I would give it 1/5 because you will literally notice a build up on the nearby surfaces. The dust also turns the white paws of my kitty brown. I'm assuming this is still safer for my kitty than the dust from clay/silica litters. I would switch to a different litter in a heartbeat if I can find what this litter does minus the dust.
been using this brand for years and switched to this one from the multi cat and like it better. I've tried many natural cat litters and this is my favorite. pros: doesn't smell like anything or have dust (very very little but nothing compared to clay litter). cons: doesn't clump as tightly as clay and can spread a little past the litter box.
I LOVE this stuff. I have been using Tidy Cats Pure Nature for years to keep my cats from the dust of a clay based litter. Although I liked the fresh smell of it, it has a tremendous amount of dust. Recently I decided to try this as everyone was out of the Tidy Cat. This litter doesn't have it's own smell, it clumps beautifully, and there is zero dust.
