New and improved version Sucks
By Catlady on Dec 2, 2019
All my 8 cats did great with this litter for 2 years until now with the ‘new and improved’ formula. It says scent free but it is Not. The original Was scent free. So how can you say it’s scent free when the scent irritates me and my cats? If you don’t go back to original and Truly Scent free I’ll have to change brands. 2 are pooping outside the boxes and the others use the boxes that still have the original formula which I’m now out of. Some are now peeing on rugs as litter IS fragranced. Very Unhappy with ‘new and improved’ version.

Wonderful alternative to clay litter
By LMiller on Nov 21, 2019
This litter is great! I hate clay litter and had been using Feline Pine litter (the shavings not the pellets) for my 2 cats for years. A few months ago, the composition changed and the pine litter is now coarser and much more dusty. My cats seemed to be itchier because of it. I decided to give this a try. The Walnut litter is fine and lightly scented. This litter clumps very well and doesn’t break up as easily as the pine did when scooping. My cats don’t mind it at all, so it was an easy transition. It IS light weight enough to track out of the litter box, so make sure you have one of those catch-all mats in front of the box, but that’s the only downside I have noticed so far. Not Scent-Free
By ClianKocol on Nov 19, 2019
I received this bag from Chewy.com last Saturday and changed two litters. I noticed my two cats started avoiding two litter boxes and used more third litter box with same brand of litter but from local pet store. I read labels same brand litter from local and found it says "Scent-Free" but bag from Chewy.com does not show "Scent-Free". I smelled scent from that litter from Chewy.com but none from local store. I had to discard them from Chewy.com and lost $20. Very disappointed! Overall, I don't recommend this one until you see the picture of bag shows "Scent-Free" below "Multi-Cat" in the red band. By the way, Chewy.com's service is excellent - scale five stars.

Best at Clumping, Zero with Odors
By RaeH on Nov 29, 2019
Probably the best at clumping for any natural litter that I've tried. It really does clump. But for odor control I found it to be some of the worst there is. It could work well in the right set-up, but my enclosed box is in the living room and this just didn't cut it. I sort of preferred the darker color however, since it blended into the hardwood when the cats (2) tracked it around the box!

This is AMAZING!!!
By Sadie on Oct 30, 2019
It’s a great product. Worked for my hirsute feline. Clumps like regular cat litter but without the regular cat litter chemicals and FANTASTIC odor control :) I wanted something natural but with great odor control. I was using Arm & Hammer multicat naturals, but the odor control wasn’t great. The associate at Pet Food Express recommended this product. Usually I’m skeptical of their recommendations because they rarely ever work for my crew of furballs (a Maine Coon/Turkish Van and a Great Pyrenees/Border Collie) , but surprisingly this was one of the few times where their suggestions panned out. It also works great with my automatic litter box. Just note, I only have one cat but I use the It’s a great product. Worked for my hirsute feline. Love that it's natural but makes a bit of a mess
By LoveMyRosie on Dec 3, 2019
Glad to have a product that doesn't harm our furry friends but a fine film of reddish-terra cotta dust gets all over the spaces where we keep our littler boxes. In the laundry room I find it on top the washer & dryer! and, of course, on the floor and all over the base molding. In the bathroom it's over the sink counter, on the soap and lotion dispensers, etc.

Smells like perfume
By babyp on Nov 27, 2019
I’m going to have to pass on ordering this litter again, it had a strong perfume smell to it. The litter worked fine, clumped fine, the smell was just overwhelming. I usually get the extra strength multi-cat version of this litter, but the price went up so I thought I would try this instead... I’m going back to my usual, it’s worth the extra few dollars.

Definitely not as described!
By kayh on Nov 8, 2019
This cat litter is described as tight clumping and non-tracking. It isn't either one of those. When you first start using it, the clumps are very tight. I thought it was going to be wonderful. Then after a few weeks, I have no idea why, the clumps were definitely not tight anymore. My cats track it through the house just like any other litter. It also stains their feet for a little while after getting out of the litter box. It absolutely doesn't contain odor at all. Since it's brown, when it's tracked through the house, if it gets wet for any reason, looks absolutely disgusting. I wouldn't recommend this litter at all.

Used to be great now smells horrible
By April on Oct 20, 2019
I've been buying this litter consistently for over 4 years, and have loved it every time. I rate the prior formula 5 stars, However, I just re-ordered and discovered - to my and my kitty's dismay - that it is a new and "improved" formula. It now smells strongly like soap and makes the room smell like it has a cheap air freshener. I hate it. I don't know why they messed with a great product. I never had an odor problem with this product before (either how it smelled or its kitty odor control). I'm very unhappy with this new, unannounced change to this product. Also, the image on here doesn't show or indicate that it is the new and smelly formula.
