The BEST eco-friendly choice for cat waste.

Once I became aware of the strip mining that goes into clay litter production and that my cat's litter waste would never biodegrade, I knew I had to make some changes. I tried several other types of non-clay litters (corn, wheat, etc.) and THIS stuff is my favorite. A 26lb bag of this walnut litter will last you about three times longer the weight equivalent in clay litter. Since my cats approve of this, I don't plan on ever going back to clay. If wrapping up this stuff in a biodegradable bag makes even the smallest difference in the world, I am happy to do it. … more

The brand that I normally buy through petsmart is hardly ever available when I need it do I thought thus might be a better substitue. Nope. Went from changing litter once a week and scooping every day to changing the whole box every day I have a cat that gets UTI's very easily so no clay litter at all. Went from changing litter once a week and scooping every day to changing the whole box every day. Never covered the smell at all. Won't buy it again. The idea was sound, just doesn't work form my cat. Will have to try and wean him onto pellets instead. … more
