disappointing

I really wanted to like these dog treats, based on all the charitable and globally sourced information on the packaging, but unfortunately, they splinter terribly into sharp pieces that are dangerous for your pet. We're not just talking about a few splinters; each chew splinters into 10-20 sharp, pointed pieces. We've purchased other brands of beef tendons that don't splinter, so this purchase was very disappointing. I wouldn't reommend.

Do not recommend

I got this because the beef tendon I normally get from this brand was out of stock. Unfortunately it splinters into pieces as my dog chews. Definitely not safe. I threw these all away.

Do not recommend

Be careful! While chewing I found several sharp Pieces. Thought these were too hard/crunchy & threw them away.

My dog gnaws for hours!

My Maltese and Yorkie mix named Lucas absolutely loves these paddywack chews. They are hard and durable and my dog will gnaw on them for hours. Definitely keeps him busy when I am busy cleaning or taking care of my other babies (humans) lol.

Too Hard for my Littles

These were just way too hard for my Chihuahua cross dogs. We try to avoid treats like bully sticks and antlers that may cause tooth fractures. This is another one of those treats that we will, unfortunately, need to avoid as well.

Didn't like the splinters

Thought these would hold up to a 80# dog. But they splinter off as he chews on them. Luckily he ignored them, so I could get them away from him. The smaller 4-5 inch tendons did not splinter like these. Very disappointed.

Dog Diarrhea

Can’t tell if it was a bad batch or if my dog just doesn’t agree with these generally, but these gave him diarrhea. I’ll be sticking to my regular Nature Gnaws bully sticks moving forward.

Healthy and natural

Both of my dogs love the paddywack, they are perfect for medium or small dogs because is a hard chew but just enough that even my chihuahua still can enjoy them, it takes her some time to go thru one of them but you can tell she really enjoys them. My Pomeranian is a more stronger chewer, it may take her a good hour to go thru one chew, great quality, all natural product no fillers added.

Healthy treat

My dog loves the beef paddywack chews. All of Nature Gnaws treats are healthy and all natural, I feel safe giving them to my dog. Most of the treats last a long time, providing a good distraction for my dog. They are a staple in her high valued treats!
