Last time I gave size small Himalayan Chew to my two toy breed (7 lb.) Yorkshire terriers but they just stared at the chew and refuse to chew on it. Will my toy breed yorkies chew on these Himalayan Chews?

Since these yak chews are hand cut into two to three inch pieces, they are perfect for small breeds. Many pets enjoy them softer so microwaving them is a great option.

Mold inside the chews

Chews were moldy. The outside seemed okay, but as my dog chewed on them they broke into smaller pieces and you could see the greenish/black mold on the inside. I threw these out immediately.

A fail - for a dog who will eat anything

My dog eats everything even vaguely resembling food - except these 'gnaws.' The things are rock hard. I even tried soaking, puffing, but to no avail. My dog stared at me with a look I've never before seen and actually walked away. A first. I guess they'll go in the trash. I wouldn't want to see another dog break a tooth.

He loves them

I have a 10 lb. 2 & a half year old Shih Tzu who is an extremely picky eater. I have literally spent 100's of dollars on different types of food & treats (always all natural) and end up giving them away after a quick sniff he walks away. These Nature Gnaws were successful. He sniffed it, then sniffed again, took it, dropped it, sniffed for a few seconds more & BAMN been going at it on the same stick for 3 days now & it is only a 1/4 of the way gone. Even thought they seem a bit pricey to me it is worth it if my baby loves them.

Can't go wrong with these!

My dog's favorite treats - and they last and last and last. She absolutely loves her yak cheese chews. She's small, about 22 lbs. so one chew will last her a week or more. She doesn't chew on them continuously but when she wants it, she goes to town on it. Great product and I feel great about giving her something natural.

Great chew for small dog

My Pomeranian loves this brand of Yak Chews. There were a lot of different sizes that keep him enticed and excited. Easy to clean material off couch pillows or the floor after being chewed. Highly recommend especially for a puppy.

A very hard treat

We have a Basenji and a Mini Aussie, the both like Yak cheese treats. These however seem rock hard and they just pile them up in the yard.

Dogs love these

I bought these for my crazy little 6 month chewer. My 3 year old dog who doesn't typically like chewy toys or treats has stolen a couple and chomped them down.
