I already give my dog Probiotic Max from this same company. Because she has joint problems, I want to give her this product also, and I notice that this product has probiotic ingredients. Would both powders be okay or is it best to just switch her to Phyto Flex exclusively?
Answer by ChewyMay 17, 2018
We'd recommend consulting with your vet before mixing the supplements, it may be best to use only the Phyto Flex since it has both supplements in one.

Does this come with the scoop?

This supplement does not contain serapeptase. For a complete list of ingredients, click the “Nutritional Info” tab, under the “Description” tab, located just under the product photos.

does this provide all the minerals and vitamins a dog needs?
Answer by ChewyJul 14, 2022
This formula supports bone integrity, synovial fluid and cartilage connective tissues to restore strength and mobility, and reduce discomfort and stiffness. It is ideal for the geriatric dog, but also for the athletic or agility dog, the growing puppy, or the recovering orthopedic patient.

A must for your older dog

Have used in past I would add to his daily supplements then I started using Dogzymes Complete which already has Phyto-Flex in it,but needed to increase his intake due aging issues .

Amazing product

Our 14 y/old Golden Retriever’s mobility is declining, she’s having problems getting up and walking . We can see significant improvement in her mobility after two weeks of daily use of this product.Dog likes the taste and we’ be ordering more.Highly recommend for arthritic dogs.Thank you!

Great product

I have my younger dogs on this product. I figured it is good for their joints, ligaments and cartilage. My dogs are excellently conditioned, but it never hurts to keep everything lubed up and gliding smoothly. It smells great as a human and my dogs like it in their food. So it must taste good!

Where's the Joint Help?

I love Dogzymes products and have used this one for years for my seniors but this new formula is a joke. Kelp as the first ingredient? All the joint products are at the very end of the ingredients list, and much less glucosamine, MSM and green lipped mussel than there used to be. What a disappointment. I'm going to switch to something actually for joints.

Nothing Changed

I’ve been feeding this to my 10 year old Siberian Husky for the past 3 months. She had both rear knees replaced over the years and wanted to give her some additional help to slow or ease her arthritis. I have not seen a change in her behavior though she’s drinking more water and peeing more often! Maybe it works for some dogs but not on my girl!

Very disappointed with the new formula! All the ingredients that help joints in it are now barely in the ingredients... wonder why they did this? If it’s to save money, they will lose it because customers won’t buy

Amazing product

I have two Bernese Mtn Dogs and one had pano as a baby. We changed his diet but he would still limp here and there. Phyto-Flex was recommended to us by both a breeder and a dog show handler for the pano as well as overall health. After our puppy started taking this, he did not exhibit any limping. Even after playing hard or a long walk/run. We use it now primarily to prevent any joint issues presently and into the future. I'm picky with what I give my dogs and all of the ingredients are on my "approved of" list. Both my dogs have done well on this. I even noticed that their coats were glossier.

Dog had elevated calcium and vet reviewed this supplement and I was told to stop. Just not for all dogs.

Its alright, way too expensive though

For how much this stuff costs, I wasn't really seeing that much of a difference in my pup who this was recommended for (to strengthen pasterns). I feel like another supplement could give the same results for less. It does make their coat very shiny though

Phosphorus and Calcium

I have been giving this to my dog for about 1 1/2 years.. today she passed a stone.. showed my vet this supplement and he said the type of stone is from high phosphorus and calcium and noted that this supplement has both. Careful
