What size are the pellets? I have a sifting style litter box
Answer by Chewy • Feb 22, 2019
Click the picture below for reference.

Is this litter composed of kiln dried pine? I wasn't able to find this information on Nature's Logic website or on the photos of the bag. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
Answer by Chewy • Nov 17, 2018
Nature's Logic pine litter is kiln dried.

Do the pellets absorb the cats urine and expand or does the pellets loosen and become a saw dust texture?
Answer by Chewy • Oct 02, 2019
The pellets when wet will loosen and break down into a saw dust texture.

How is the isocupressic acid of the ponderosa pine expelled to make this safe for animals?
Answer by Chewy • Oct 16, 2020
Isocupressic acid is found primarily in the pine (conifer) needles. No pine needles are used in the production of Nature's Logic pine litter. Only whole logs which are planed down and kiln dried are used. Once that process is complete, the logs become pellets, those pellets are oven baked twice.

Overall a Nice Product

We ordered this when the product was sent bi-monthly and was lost in shipping. Chewy customer service did a great job with this issue. The product smells nice and breaks down into sawdust with moisture. My special needs cat had no problems using this product, but his long hair did pick up the sawdust. I had to brush him out every time he needed to use the litter box.

Not the best

I have used other pine litters. I have found them to be less messy and much better at covering odors. Unfortunately, they can be pricey. Logic was cheaper so I tried it. While I can not say it is more messy, I can say that it's odor supression is poor.

Not awesome

Buy pine pellets regularly for our cat but this kind is smaller pellets which get dusty quickly and makes our car sneeze a lot which never happens. Would stick to different kind bigger pellets.

Pine Cat Litter

Looks like they are carrying a new pine litter now. The pellets are half the size and they do seem to have less dust than the other one. I like them so far!

Fine, but small pellets

This litter is similar to the other brands I've tried, but the pellets are all smaller than what I typically see. Seem cut in half/thirds making more of them fall through the sifting box prematurely.

Great Stuff

Cat loves it; it doesn't smell, even after a couple of days, and doesn't track all over the place.Best for us!

Strong Pine Smell

This litter is fine except for the strong pine smell! My cat doesn't even want to stay in the litter box long enough to finish pooping (let alone cover the poop), so they jump out and get poop on the floor. I definitely do not recommend this litter for cats. I will be sticking with paper-based litter from now on. I have seen other reviewers using this for barn animals and that seems like a good use. Outdoors, with taller animals that have more distance between their noses and the litter, it would work well.

Nice, cheap, good product

Works well to hide cat odor, breaks down into the saw dust and does sort of clump together some more than other pellets. There was a lot of dust when I first opened the bag but after that it was fine. Slight pine smell but not bad

Excellent Litter Option

This litter smells AMAZING!!! I use it for my two cats who go a lot! They poop on top and no scent escapes, I'm not kidding. When they pee, also no smell, and it turns into saw dust that doesn't need to be cleaned up. Highly recommend using this litter if you have the breeze style litter boxes that have the pads underneath, this Is a perfect combination and I have never been so happy. This litter smells better than the breeze pellets and is less than half the price, I love it! To top all of that, it is eco-friendly and more sustainable than other litter, a huge win all around. Highly recommend!

Nature's Logic cat litter

I purchased this litter to try as I did not feel like driving to the pet feed to get my normal litter. I was surprised with this one. I love it and wish I would have tried it early but reading other reviewer hindered me from trying this litter earlier. I took a chance and got it and found that I love it so much better than the pellets I was using before. They are smaller in size, they break down easy resulting in faster dry out time after they breakdown unlike other brands that when used in a closed box can stay wet longer, which makes the cats not want to use the box. Also the way these pellets break down it is not like a fine saw dust yet more like corn meal which makes it easier and faster for clean up time. I don't have to do a whole lot of sifting with this litter like other brands. Lastly the order control is great and extra low tracking! I will continue to buy this brand for my cat. The best part is my cat purrfers this litter over the other. I had one box with the old pellets and one with the Nature's Logic cat litter and he likes the new litter better.
