    great food

    By on

I love this food, I think feeding raw is a great option, the only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that it doesn't contain any bone (I have read its good to include ground bone, however, I think its still suitable) and the price makes it too expensive to feed as a primary diet. I have 40 pound 7 month old xoloitzcuintli puppy and he loves this food. I give 1 patty a day in the evening, he gets dry puppy food for breakfast. Would love to feed it to all my dogs but its too costly.Otherwise, I am very happy with the frozen patties, delivered with dry ice, I live in the desert and it was still frozen when I came home. Love this food

    By on

My dog gobbles this down before I can step away from the bowl. This food cleared up loose, runny stool within a couple of days. I've used other raw foods, but this one looks like something I should be eating. Love that the patties are individually wrapped. I feed this with the kibble. I can't buy frozen raw food at this price at a retail store, and it's shipped to the door free. What's not to like?

    Dog won’t touch it

    By on

Bought for mini 2 yr old poodle. She won’t touch it. Tried for 2 weeks using different ideas from folks who feed this. My dog would rather starve. Threw it out.

    Freezer burnt. Bad smell.

    By on

Not Chewys fault but the packaging is not great because about 50% of the patties have freezer burn. My dog likes this food but won't touch any if the ones that were freezer burnt because these put off a gross spoiled smell.

    doggies love these!

Quality of product is great and my papillons loooooooooove it! The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I have trouble opening the individual packages the patties come in. No biggie!

    Disappointed

    By on

Purchased 3 bags of Nature’s Logic beef patties for my dogs recently from you. Have never fed raw before, tried mixing (what came out of each “patty”-when thawed, was actually the texture of mushy wet canned loaf food) it with some of their regular canned food (to transition). They won’t touch it. After moving the “patties” from the freezer to refrigerator a day or two prior (in their original packaging), I cut them open; they are no longer “patties,” but straight up “cold mush” with the same exact texture as “loaf” canned food from the supermarket. I’ve only used two of the so-called patties. They were back to their original food the next day. I’ve only used two of the so-called patties. They were back to their original food the next day. Didn’t eat anything but a small Bully Stick and frozen carrots the day I introduced this (what I thought I had researched to be a “quality” single ingredient food for them). They’ll eat 85% ground beef and turkey, after I’ve prepared it with a little rice, enzyme, mineral, and mixed kibble. 2x/day- bowls on the floor for approximately 20 minutes. Am I doing something wrong, I don’t get it? I’ve been told, this is much healthier and better for long-term health, however I am questioning this and should have paid attention to reviews here on Chewy.com instead of DogFoodAdvisor. Almost any dog I’ve ever known and owned has been more than happy to “wolf down” a hamburger patty. Please advise as I paid a good price for what I now have left as 3 full bags (frozen)-2 portions and will probably be looking elsewhere. Thank you! … more

    My Dogs Love It!

    By on

In trying to find out if my little MalitPoo has food allergies, I ordered Nature's Logic Raw frozen food. She loves the food, and I know there are no unnecessary additives in it. It came from Chewy well-insulated and still frozen, and it only took a couple of days to receive. I cannot find this in the pet stores, and it makes it so easy to order on line and receive in the mail. I would recommend this food from Chewy.

    Very convenient

Raw food is different than conventional dog food and far as this one ggoes it is good. It smells good and easy to measure which is very important with raw food
