    Best Trachea Ever!

    By on Top 250 Contributor

I'm writing from Minnesota, where, in January of 2019, we have just gone through over a week of temperatures down to -60 degrees F. Day after gruelling day, with horrific winds. It was these treats that got my boy to go out and poop every time. I love them too. I usually buy full tracheas and (yes) cut them into small lengths with a hacksaw (yes). Not anymore. Every one was a good length and a good treat for the 65 pound standard poodle sleeping at my feet!

    Healthy chews

I feel so good giving these to my boxer Rosie. They are healthy and safe for her. They are great for keeping her teeth clean, as well as mental stimulation! She loves them!

Nice treat for my Fat Labs!

    By on

The smaller size makes a nice snack for my Labs....who would eat day and night if the food were offered. I keep them in the freezer and they are really cold and crunchy. They are a little fatty....so be careful on fine rugs.

    Recommend Beef Trachea

Yes,as an occasional treat especially for my senior dogs who need an easier chew,I recommend these treats. Only wish they weren’t quite so fatty with a coating on them.

Although they're disgusting, my dog said no.

    By on

Paddy carried one around briefly, happy as always to have something new all his own. I have a high tolerance for gross stuff when it comes to my dog, (my 2 month old toy poodle's theme song was 'Trash Pickin' Puppy', with 12 verses about the junk he'd find on the ground and try to eat). This stuff is over the top. Excessive amounts of extremely greasy animal fat with the worst rancid oil smell. Ugh. He had no interest in chewing/eating it, so I trashed it and spared my rug the grease. You'd think a shelter dog would eat anything, but in his year with us, Paddy has developed a discriminating pallet. Next time I order a new treat, I'll heed my intuition...

    Natural treats

Our dogs absolutely love these. They are a bit smelly, but I guess that's what makes them so much more attractive to the dogs. They were gone in no time.

    My babies love these

    By on

I have a 13 year old Chihuahua with very few teeth but she loves this chew so much, she gums it until it is soft enough for her to eat. My 10 year old mixed rescue is happily chewing on one right now! I was hesitant to order these because of what they are but my pups love them so they are on auto ship now!

    Good value, but very fatty.

    By on

My dogs, corgi mix and Pitti mix loved these trachea pieces, come in assorted sizes however very fatty although suppose to be a good Omega fat. My dogs coats improved, their coats soft and shiny. They loved these and never turned them down. These need to be eaten outside or on a hard floor. The pups got to my living room carpet. The stains attracted dirt and some had the fat embedded which after much carpet cleaning effort, my carpet is saved. I will not be ordering these during the summer.

    Good quality, longer lasting treat

    By on

Previously, I had bought the 3-inch-long or longer beef tracheas to keep my two Boxers occupied and satisfied. They liked them, but they would chew on them until they were a soft, slobbery mess (then swap slimy treats with each other--yuk!) and get them all over the rug. When I started buying these smaller pieces they can usually fit the whole thing in their mouth and just chew for a really long time without getting it on the rug and they seem just as satisfied. Within the bag there is a variety of sizes, so you can pick a smaller or larger piece to fit the occasion. Plus, these smaller pieces are less expensive, so we all win.
