Is this Nature's Logic Distinction?

No, per Nature’s Logic website, the Distinction line is only sold at specialty pet food stores. In my small town, it’s sold in a pet food boutique type store. Ingredients in this “Original” line and “Distinction” are different.

Complete Garbage

My 5 month old large breed puppy has developed an antibiotic persistent UTI and crystals in her urine since being on this “All Lifestages Food”. My vet says all lifestages is not appropriate for dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. Furthermore, the super high protein in this food is highly inappropriate for a puppy. Too much protein in this food definitely made my puppy super gassy and her poop was VERY stinky and runny on this food despite a two week transition. We’re well over $1000 in vet bills with our poor puppy who we’ve been trying to potty train while having these urinary difficulties. My vet also said too high of a protein content can make a puppy’s urine acidic which in turn provides a good environment for urinary bacteria to thrive. We switched our puppy to a more appropriate food without a transition and the gas and runny stool was gone immediately. This food needs to be pulled from circulation immediately before it causes more damage to people’s dogs. People also have to be aware of the phosphorus and calcium ratios, especially when feeding this poison to large breed puppies whose growth plates can get really messed up with too much calcium. Thank goodness x-rays revealed no stones and blood tests showed no kidney damage. I won’t even donate this food to a shelter.

An investigation must be performed on this and it should be pulled

I recently started purchasing this dog food a few months ago because I read about it in the Dog food advisor website and they were on the list of very good foods that come highly recommended and for the past few months been having quite a number of issues. My poor dogs have been throwing up and having horrible mucus diarrhea and it happened with our first lot number, so I called your company and they sent me another shipment with a different lot number (2 small bags.) I had no issues with the first bag, but just recently opened the second one and we are once again having more digestive issues. I've stopped giving them this food now and was on the phone with your agent Renee who was very helpful, but I'm ordering a totally different food now. These issues have been going on since first using this food and my dogs have suffered long enough. I asked Renee if there have been other complaints and he is now seeing more complaints. I am going to contact the Dog food advisor company as well and inform them, Something must be done to pull this food off the shelves/from being ordered and an investigation done!

Bilious vomiting?

Based on upscale pet store recommendation, we fed our dog this for several years. It’s my fault but she threw up bile for years, 1-3 times a month. Adjusted amounts, timing, had numerous exams/tests. Finally switched, no more vomit. Very possibly this is a quality food and not a good fit for my dog. But, mentioning in case others have similar issues.

My Whippet loves it!

Foxy has been on this food for a couple years now and she is doing great. Skin and fur are perfect, and she loves it.

Dogs liked but gave them bloody diarrhea

I have very picky eaters so I was happy when my dogs ate this up. Unfortunately they both got terrible diarrhea and one had an explosive accident with a lot of blood. As soon as I switched their food back, everything went back to normal. My dogs switch brands of foods ALL of the time and never have issues, so unfortunately, I believe it has to be the food!

Top 1000 Contibutor

Tiny kibble size even works for toy breeds!

Kudos to Nature’s Logic for shining light on just how heavily the pet food industry relies on the use of synthetic vitamins and minerals. This natural philosophy is even harder to find in a processed kibble. My Yorkies have tried both the Nature’s Logic chicken and lamb dry recipes, and they enjoyed the taste of both. While some pet parents have warned that the wholesome ingredients can be a tad “rich” for sensitive tummies, my small Yorkie with IBS tolerated both formulas just fine after a slow and careful transition. Although Nature’s Logic doesn’t have a specific line for Small Breeds, their universal kibble size is surprisingly very small (1/4”) and was easily crunched by both 5lb mouths in my home. Please see my picture above for size reference—perhaps large dog owners might find the kibble too tiny. While my Yorkies don’t eat this brand exclusively, Nature’s Logic has definitely added some delicious variety and “natural” nutrition to our dry food rotation.

Natures logic chicken

The ingredients are great but none of my four dogs are excited about it (including my 50lb eats literally anything mutt) and theres always a little kibble left over in the bowl when they’re done. For the price I was expecting bowl licking good!

Healthy and Delicious

We have 7 dogs that are truly at all stages of life. They all love this dog food! None of them have any digestion issues and their coats look healthy and shinny. I would highly recommend this dog food to any doggy parents.

Highs and lows

When the bag got here I put it on the floor by the sealed container of did we still had to finish (abt 5#). After abt 10 minutes I heard a rustling since and I went into the kitchen. Daisy has turn a hike in the bag to get at this new food. I'm not sure what has changed but after a week she only eats it when it's mixed with her evening meal of chicken and rice.

Wanted to like it but...

When I got my dog from the shelter he had diarrhea from the get-go. It was stress induced for sure. When I switched to this food though, diarrhea would come and go but all of his stool was soft. It also made him have to go a lot. I'm talking four times a day. I kept giving it to him to see if it would improve with time but I can no longer deal with diarrhea. I just began the switch to a new food today.
