Nature's Miracle Silver Oval Hooded Litter Box

We got this covered pan a few years ago. This pan USES JUMBO SIZE LITTER PAN LINERS & can use any type of litter (we use Crystal Litter). USES MORE LITTER than most pans BECAUSE PAN is LARGER size. This pan is PERFECT FOR LARGE CATS, we were using it for a MAIN COON SIZED CAT (22 pounds) that we fostered; high back great for those cats that urinate high up in the pan & helps with decreasing litter outside the pan. This is NOT A GOOD CHOICE FOR SENIOR CATS WITH ARTHRITIS or other PHYSICAL IMPAIRMENTS because it has a HIGH FRONT ENTRANCE. Our 14 year old old cat (10 pounds) with arthritis could not get in & out of this pan; she had a low entry pan which always had some litter tossed out because We got this covered pan a few years ago. I mistook the picture to show a door flap such as other litter boxes have, but that's not what was showing; when I called, Chewy Customer Service offered to exchange for another style that does have a flap, but the reviews I had read for this one were good enough compared to other styles that I kept this one. It is easy to clean out, despite my bad back and hip replacement. The lift-up top acts as a sort of "dutch door" for the purpose. I had wanted the flap to reduce the dust in the air from litter in an open litter box, but the cover seems to serve the purpose even without the flap. 4 1/2 *'s. This is really flimsy and the flip up lid doesn't snap in place easily. The worst thing is that the flip up lid is not centered and is too far to one side, so you're having to stick your head inside the box to scoop the back. It's easier to take the lid off, which is still a pain and not convenient at all. I also don't care to see "Nature's Miracle" in bold red letters on top of the lid every time I walk into the room.

I love Nature's Miracle litter boxes, they are always easier to clean, especially if you use Arm and Hammer Slide type of clumping litter. This litter box has a great hood design that is easy to use and high sides so there is no peeing over the top. My only complaint is that the sides are not square and makes cleaning a bit harder, as the front of most litter scoops are flat.

This has to be 10000000000% the worst cat littler box we bought, The handle comes right off immediately. You CANNOT move this cat box with the handle!! Also the low front allow a lot of litter to escape the box and makes a mess. Do you self a favor and skip over this one. JUNK

It’s decent and does the job keeping cat urine in the box for my kitties that like to back up to and pee on the back wall. It’s not that easy to clean without removing the lid entirely and I wish I could figure out how to remove the door completely because it isn’t really necessary. It works fine for the price. Without the awkward door I would have given it 5 stars.

Put the top up for awhile in the beginning. She was used to it within a week. It's tricky to clean if you have trouble bending over. You have to get into it a bit to get all of the remnants out.

This solved our problem with smelly litter gathering behind box. Even with the top off the back is high enough that the litter does not end up outside the box when a thorough cat buries his stuff.

The size is just right and works well for bigger cats. The higher back seems to prevent urine seepage outside the box. Minimal litter is kicked out and easily cleaned up. I really like that the front part lifts up and makes scooping the litter more convenient without having to lift the whole lid.

We bought this for our two cats. All the other pans we have ever bought were garbage. This one is easy to put together and super easy to clean. We use Fresh Step Crystals in it. Almost all of the crystals stay in the pan. Much less messy than any other litter pan.
