    Loves this food

My cat really loves this line of food. She enjoys flavors that you wouldn't necessarily think a cat would enjoy Rabbit is one of them........I just wish Chewy also carried the Lamb in this line because Nora likes that too!

    Cats did not like

    By on

All 5 of my cats did not touch this food. Fed it to the stray cats outside, and they don't seem to want to eat it either. Disappointing because they love some of the other flavors of this brand that they no longer make.

    Best I've found

    By on

I research a lot of cat food for one of my cats. This line had the textures she liked and a nice selection of non-chicken choices. The phosphorus was low enough that I could feed it to my cat without worrying about bladder issues too much. Unfortunately the line will be discontinued. Very upset about this.

    This one's a hit

My Olive, 5 years old, has damage to her appetite from hypercalcemia, so she's extremely fussy. But she loves her Ritzy Rabbit! It's also gentle and non-allergenic to her tummy. To other cat parents with hypercalcemia kitties, the trick is to buy food without acidifiers, which companies use to help prevent UTIs in cats. They started adding acidifiers in the 90s, with good intentions, but some cats retain calcium as a result. Look up the four acidifiers and make sure your food, most commonly in dry, doesn't have them. Olive's calcium went back to normal after going on an acidifier-free diet, avoiding kidney damage, but her appetite is pretty shot, requiring a daily med. Great at first and now they aren’t into eating it

    By on

The first 2 weeks my cats gobbled this down (both flavors - rabbit and chicken), and now they both take a few bites and walk away. If it was just one cat I’d think s/he wasn’t feeling well, but both cats tells me they just don’t like it. I’m torn because it has helped my female cats stomach issues/soft stools a ton, but a food is only as good as a cats willingness to eat it so, I’m back to researching. Love the quality, price point, and that it helped my cat... I just wish she would eat it.

    Kitties love it!

I like to provide various protein sources to my cats and I wanted to add rabbit to the choices they have. They seem to really like this. I feel confident this is a good healthy option after reviewing the ingredients list. I highly recommend it.

Hobbes loves this food too. He has refused to eat so many different brands, but now he loves Pride's selections.
