    Discontinued, disappointed

By Danielle on May 2, 2019

My cats loved the chicken and beef recipes. It took a very long time to find a food my 3 very picky eaters would all eat. No kidding, it took months of trying different brands. Very disappointed I have to go through that again. They can’t eat seafood either.

This was once a great cat food brand with no cheap fillers

    By kendall1970 on May 14, 2018

This brand is going down hill fast as they are adding Guar Gum, Xanthan Gum, Cassia Gum, to this product. The reason I choose to feed this to my pets is because it didn't contain the health destroying fillers, this will be my last order of this brand...

    Lovebugs Lamb Recipe

    By on

KC is eating it on a rotational basis. I think she would be more excited if it was only lamb without beef. Smells very beefy too. Otherwise, i would recommend for kitties who enjoy beef cans. I will probably keep in rotation though. The reason i purchased, is because KC does like lamb, but the last order of instinct lamb seemed very pasty and when i added some water it basically, disintegrated before my eyes. So this time i tried pride lamb instead.

    Quality canned food!

    By on

My 2 love this stuff, all varieties. My vet (who is amazing) even carries this brand in her office. I foolishly used to feed kibble, and making a transition to all wet food/real meat/grain free was a struggle. They were addicted to their "Fritos", as I call the dry food. I seriously tried about 5 brands before I found Nature's Variety! They've been kibble free for almost a yr now.... :)

    Generally well-accepted, lower protein

    By on Top 100 Contributor

This food seems to be generally well-accepted among my crew. It's a minced with gravy sort of thing - gravy is fairly thick and not too runny or soupy. My only real concern is the fact that it's only 8% protein. This will make it more of a rotational meal rather than a staple here.

    GOOD HEALTHY CHOICE

    By on Top 100 Contributor

oNE OF MY CATS, THE LIVES TO EAT GUY, LOVES THIS LAMB CHOICE. THE OTHER, THE EATS TO LIVE TYPE, NOT SO MUCH. HE WILL EAT IT EVENTUALLY BUT HIS BROTHER HAS USUALLY ALMOST FINISHED THE WHOLE CAN. NATURALLY,, HE THE BROTHER, IS ON THE CHUBBY SIDE. THE LAMB LOOKS AND SMELLS VERY DELICIOUS AND THIS LAMB IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND I WILL PUT IT ON THEIR ROTATION.

    He likes it.

My kitty is allergic to chicken & fish & dislikes pate, so this is a good red meat with lots of sauce he enjoys.
