Born Out of a Mission of Love

Born Out of a Mission of Love

NaturVet was founded in 1994 after the owners' adopted white lab, Winston, was diagnosed with arthritis and hip dysplasia. Multiple vets told them he couldn't be helped; refusing to accept this grim prognosis, they began researching alternative treatments with Dr. Pedro Rivera, a renowned holistic veterinarian. After a few months, they developed a natural joint formula that went on to give Winston a second chance and more than 10 years of active life with his family and siblings.

The NaturVet product line now includes almost 140 solutions designed to support the health and well-being of dogs, cats and horses. Spanning a wide range of needs, including health concerns, nutritional support, behavioral issues, potty training and much more, NaturVet's products are designed to ensure the superior quality of life all pets deserve.

    Cat won't eat it

By Sarah on Dec 18, 2020

My senior cat has become a bit of a picky eater in his old age. He refuses this treat. We have even crumbled it up in his food and covered it in tuna and he continues to refuse it. I was hopeful that this product would be something that enhances his life but I can't say if it works or not because he won't eat it. I saw in the reviews that some cats are turning their noses up to it but I went ahead and tried it anyway. I think if you have a picky-kitty this isn't the product for you.

    Smells Terrible

By Trae on Jan 7, 2021

This was a waste of money. He doesn't like the smell of it so he won't eat it. Tried crushing it up in a fine powder like substance and put in wet food. Still wouldn't eat it. If you want an animal to eat something it MUST smell and taste good. Waste of money.

    My Cats Would Not Eat

By NaturVet on Nov 2, 2020

I have 4 cats & 1 dog - not one of my cats would eat these. I tried whole, half, crushing you name it I tried it. My Dog would not even it them. I am not sure what is in them that make them dislike the smell but they have never turned down any type of treat - even those with glucosamine.

Works great but not for a kitty with a sensitive stomach

By Eric on Nov 19, 2020

Within 3 days my 16yo kitty was highly mobile and doing smaller jumps again. He's always had a sensitive stomach, and these set him off so I will be forced to try something else.

    Good Luck With That

    By JKS63 on Aug 25, 2020

I can't tell you if this product is effective because despite several methods, including force, my cats refuse to eat it. I bought this because one of our cats has an infected tooth and the soonest we can get her to the vet is 2 weeks from now. Our cats are by no means "finicky" eaters. They eat bugs and lizards when we're not looking. But there is no way they are going to swallow this stuff.

    don't have one

By none on Oct 19, 2020

Waste of money. My cat hasn't eaten even one of them. You don't have to worry about leaving them unattended. A cat certainly won't gulp them down. A dog might.

    My cats hated this product

By Mary on Jul 29, 2020

I have 5 cats and they all hated it. I gave them to my neighbor and he has to crumble them up in canned food or treats otherwise she wouldn’t eat them. The company however is wonderful! They refunded the whole cost and send me a tube of similar product to try, unfortunately they don’t like that either.

    Terrible treat

By Cheapfoam on Aug 21, 2020

Very hard and stale. Cats won't eat them. They run away from it as soon as they smell it. Not at all soft.
