Would this help with dry skin that may not be from allergies?

This product contains Fish Oil and Flaxseed which they contain essential fatty acids that can potentially help with dry flaky skin.
How long does this chew last? I know it says daily but does that mean don't give it again until 24 hours have passed?
I'm asking because I gave it to my dog tonight, but I'm wanting to change to giving it to him in the morning.

You should not exceed this product's recommended dose in less than 24 hours.
