    Great for teething dogs

By Sarge on Feb 21, 2021

I’m giving this to my 4 month old GSD pup to help with his ear cartilage since he’s teething and that’s using most of his calcium is going. It’s helping his ears.

    Not for Us

By Kenzie on Dec 9, 2020

My puppy refuses to eat this. I’m sure it’s a great product, it’s just not for us.

Dog eats it mixed in food

    By on

For health and availability reasons, Great Pyrenees now eating a homemade diet was in need of extra calcium supplementation and this, though a bit pasty, mixes in food well. She eats it all.

    Smells Awful

    By on

I feed my dog homemade food, and I was looking to try a new calcium supplement that was more affordable than the one I bought previously. This product smells awful. My dog turns his nose up at his food when I mix this in.

    Added to home-made food

    By on

Following recipes from Dog Nutrition and Cookbook (by the Woof Brothers), we have found the ticket for our previously reluctant eater. We mix equal amounts of each recipe with highly-rated kibbles, but we read some concerns about home cooking potentially lacking adequate calcium, so after researching calcium needs of dogs, we are now sprinkling NaturVet Calcium-Phosphorus/Vitamin D powder over Stella's (Staffy Terrier/mix) food to the amount advised on the container. She loves it!

    Fast Growing Puppy

    By on

We have a puppy that is growing very BIG very FAST! It was recommended to give him additional calcium. He would not eat his food if I mixed this in. Sooooo....I mixed his portion with peanut butter and viola! he gobbled down his needed calcium.
