    So far so good

By MinniesMom on Feb 11, 2021

I bought this to replace a similar product from GNC that isn't available anymore. This is a little stiffer, but my cat who has thyroid issues is eating it. It's been a week. The daily serving is a 2.5" strip. I divide it as a treat twice a day.

    Great for sick cat

By SunshineMom on Jul 17, 2019

My cat has IBS and has lost a lot of weight. I have gone through several diet changes to find food that my cat will eat that does not cause stomach upsets. A friend recommended Cat-Cal. I wasn't sure because my cat is super picky and can't tolerate many foods etc.. However, Cat-Cal is a godsend. My cat not only tolerates it, but loves it and is gaining back some weight with this supplement. Thank you Cat-Cal!

The Gel Is Easy To Use.

By Bayourose on Nov 8, 2018

My cat is frail and is also older. He licks it from his paw and has no objection. I do believe it has increased his appetite. He is now looking to eat. Hopeful it continues to help.

Works Great When You Rub INTO Fur

By AthenaBlake on Aug 11, 2018

APPLY TO THE FUR. Squeeze out enough to cover the pad of your finger and rub it INTO the fur. I put it on the top of the paws so it's easy to lick off. The majority of the reviews are negative because they are giving the supplement wrong - most likely because the directions aren't specific. My veterinarian prescribed this for my senior cat with stage two renal failure as an iron supplement and this is how she instructed me to give it to her.

    Don't Waste Your Money

By SavingMoneyMom on Jun 10, 2018

I bought this for my cat and put it on my finger as the directions recommend. She does not do well. I have to hold her down and shove my finger in her mouth to give her these vitamins. It is also very messy! It is not worth it.

    Very thick

    By Willow on Mar 23, 2018 top500Contributor

I bought this to add weight to my cat. She is not a fan. It has a very thick consistency that not only makes it hard to get out of the tube, but it makes it hard for your cat to consume. I even tried warming it with my body heat before getting it out of the tube. Didn't help. This also made my cat gag and gag. Needless to say, when she sees the tube, she runs and hides.

    Can't won't/can't eat it.

By BillyD on Dec 25, 2017

My cats are losing weight, so I thought this would be an awesome supplement. Smells fishy which they love! The problem is that they will smell and maybe lick, but if the gel stays in the bowl for more than two minutes, it turns into epoxy - literally forming an impenetrable film that cats can no longer eat. And because it's so expensive, I'm wasting half the tube.
