Nope wouldn't touch it

First I have to was packed with cases of canned food. The Hairball Aid was totally crushed and spilled...I racked out some bigger pieces and my kitty wouldn't so much as taste it...He was insulted. I feed him Greenies for hairballs and the pumpkin wasn't doing it for him apparently.

5 cat household review

I suppose it's like feeding the same thing to 5 toddlers, not every one is going to like it.... Out of my 5 cats, 2 like these, one eats them reluctantly, one thinks I'm poisoning him and the other one, the one who needs these the most since he's a Longhair, thinks these are kitty crack and goes nuts for them. I've noticed since he's been getting these, his stool is formed and he's not hacking up hairballs. So all and all, they work for the cat intended and that's all I needed.

My kitties would not eat them

Don't know why but my indoor kitties would not eat them. My feral colony is getting a lot of hairball relief! :)

works for GI issues too - need to crumble in food

I have a cat who has very loose stools that go to diarrhea at the slightest stress. Pumpkin can really help firm the stool up (or help with constipation also.) She will not eat these by themselves but I feed canned (and you could give a SMALL amount of canned with this in it if you do not do canned) and I crumble it into her serving and stir it well. She does not notice and chows down. I have another cat who is Miss Finicky and she can tell it is in the food and will back away. If your cat is super super finicky...I would try a little canned pumpkin (NOT pumpkin pie mix - actual pumpkin) mixed in the food - that can help a lot with hairballs and that way you know if the cat will eat pumpkin. Operative word...little.

NaturVet Hairball Supplement

Sorry to say the cats did not like them much. I think they would be good for them if I could get them to eat them. They are very crumbly.

Should have listened

Some reviewers said their cats would not eat these treats. I should have listened to them, as my long-haired cat that needs them will not touch them. A quick sniff and rejection for both whole and crumbled treats. I was hopeful, but no go, so they are a waste of money for me.

A miracle at last

My cat has been vomiting for years, primarily during the night and had become very thin. After three days of the Hairball Aid, It has stopped. She also loves the pumpkin taste and begs for some when I enter the kitchen. We have now established a pattern and she sits there every noon waiting to gobble up the little treats of which she gets two a day. This item is a great find for us and I seem to have a more content, healthier cat.

These work!!!

My long hair cat had a habit of ralphing up furballs almost daily. Big ones; everywhere. I started feeding him this treat in the am and within days he stopped. It’s a very rare occurrence now. He screams for this treat in the morning and snarfs it down so it seems he really enjoys the flavor.

Cats love them!

Two very picky cats love them. Must only give TWO a day. If they had their way they would gobble whole container.

Works best when crushed in Wet Food!

Adopted a cat that had a bad case of hairballs. Was recommended to supplement his food with a Hairball Aid. I had great success with this brand for Dog Supplements. This supplement works best when you crush 2 pellets and mix in with their wet food. Definitely improved the health and life of my cat. He is able to pass hairballs, and also not cough up or throw up after every meal.
