Hard, dry, not palatable to cat who eats everything

    By on

These were somewhat hard and dry upon opening the container. My cat refused to eat them which says a lot because she literally eats anything (she will eat the food regurgitated by my other cat!!) After opening them, they turned completely hard and dry very quickly. There were NEVER soft chews. I wish it wasn't such a pain to return online orders. I threw them in the trash and lost out on the money.

    Vet Recommended!

    By on

Our vet advised these because we had a few of our cats needing shots for virus. We only have a few at this time that need them. Once again once they have them they will beg for them by the pantry as this is where they are kept.

    Cats Turned Their Noses Up

    By on

I ordered these on a recommendation from my vet to help keep my cats healthy. My cats did not like them but I broke them in half and added to their food bowl and they were none the wiser. I will reorder them to keep them healthy.

    Soft is good!

    By on

My little girl only had hard treats before, but these are so soft. Only problem is that she wants more than she is allowed!

    Lysine Powder when in doubt

    By on

My cat UK has taken an immunity treat for over a year as he was found in very bad shape, almost eaten. He was found to have FIV after we saved him with Vet help. He is on CBD but articles said to give lysine 500 mg daily for FIV; I added an Immunity treat. When we did give him things, he does not care as he needed the love, attention. He is about 2 and beautiful, Russian Blue mix if I believe my Vet and staff. He has hate for our cats as he believes they chewed on him. Our cats smell due to pine shavings is reason. We recycle in woods with trees. But we made a game with pills, and these treats...we play chase it. Not unlike throwing a ball for dog, we toss these closely. At first we went to take it away, he was having no part. Make a game of how you do food. We spoil our kids, then they test us. My dog is prime example...other ferals we found they occasionally turn their noses up until we make game or let what we are feeding sit in their favorite treat... Shelters, like our group I think powder is best, it will mix in with wet food, and they make no problem. So far only UK eats treats, pills for us. The others dog included has to be fooled into. Best wishes for all our kids. I am going to try this for UK hope it tastes just like chicken? Wish these companies would stop saying that, dog and cats smell these treats...they do not taste or smell like anything but commercial made product. … more

    Not very well liked yet

    By on

I can't get any of my cats to eat these. I've tried giving as a "treat" by itself and breaking up very small and hiding in their wet food - they will walk away from it. Open to suggestions to try to get them to eat it.
