Fragile package

For some reason it wouldn't let me send this with the picture on my phone. I got this as part of a bundle with a nail grinder with high hopes I can start trimming my dog's nails at home. When I opened the box, the bottle had leaked onto my order receipt and the cap had popped off. This is the last time I order any liquids from Chewy. Hopefully it does its job. For now, I'm not recommending the product because these calming sprays can be unpredictable based on the dog itself

Great product!

I've used this calming spray for over a year now and always have 2-3 bottles on hand so I don't run out. It works so well to combat any anxiety that my 11-year old pitbull may be experiencing since he has slowly lost his hearing over the past 2 years and is currently losing his sight. I pump a few sprays on his blankets on the couch and in the room and within 10 minutes he is much more relaxed. I also use it whenever we go on trips, just before the 45 minute car ride to the park or going to a restaurant, and occasionally before bedtime. This spray has also helped immensely to transition dogs that I foster from a high anxiety shelter to a calmer home setting. I see immediate changes after spraying this... every single time. I have a severe sensitivity to any scented products, but this is not overly obnoxious and I'm able to tolerate it well. A few sprays is all that is required.

great spray

I brought this spray to help retrain my baby to sleep in her crate again and it has work great for me. My fur baby would run away from me before, now I spray her crate about 30 minutes before we get ready for bed. She will go in there and lay right down and go to sleep with out whining or trying to get out. I will be purchasing this spray again. Great product!

Smells ok

It smells ok, but as far as helping to calm down dogs, it does not work well.

Works good for our chihuahua

Our 14 yr old chihuahua , who is blind, nearly deaf and has arthritis started whining and licking a lot, even when she was in her carrier that she has slept in since day 1(she was a rescue). She seemed anxious and couldn’t settle down. I ordered this calming spray and there has been a very noticeable difference. Her whining and restlessness have decreased a lot. I will be ordering in again.

Just essential oils

This spray has a pleasantly herbal scent. However, it does not contain any pheromones. The description is desceptive.

Works well if layered with other aids

I adopted a GSD with high anxiety. Like, rip my house apart and destroyed two crates anxiety. This seems to help when layered with several other calming elements, including CBD treats, a pheromone cream on his nose, and several puzzle toys. Yes we will be taking him to training, but in the meantime this helps. It has a pleasant smell but the only thing that I don't like other than it not working all on its own (yes, I realize that my dog is an extreme case and it would likely work for dogs that just stress when company comes over, etc.) is that the spray is a bit sticky on my hardwood floors after it has been sprayed. You have to lock the dog in another room or my husband takes him outside to potty and then I spray, as the directions say to wait 5 minutes for the spray to dissipate. Overall I will keep it in my regular arsenal.
