How many hours does this last? And how often can u give it to them?

The calming aids raise the serotonin levels in the brain which produce the calming effect. Because we never know where those beginning levels are, we can only give an estimate on the calming longevity which is usually 2-4 hours. It varies from pet to pet based on the serotonin levels in their brains and the severity of their stress situation.
Can I use this to help my dog sleep through the night?

Does this work to calm aggresive behavior??

This product is recommended to help support the nervous system in reducing stress and tension. If your dogs aggression is based off stress it may help.
I have a blue tick hound and if she hears a gunshot or thunder she starts to shake and whine immediately! So I don’t get a 30 minute warning! Even after the Incident occurs is it still ok to give these chews to her to stop the shaking and whining?? Thanks

These are a life saver!

I've been giving these to my dogs for years. I have 10 dogs (8 dachshunds and 2 beagles) and these work every time. All of my pups love the taste. They know the sound of the jar opening and come immediately when they hear me open it. I give them each half a piece at the end of the day and within 20 minutes of nestling into bed, they're all out cold. I'll definitely keep using these for as long as they are working.

A little calmer

I am still not sure if this is helping during thunderstorms. It is hard to give this ahead of the storm so I am not sure if it really helps. He may be a little more calm but I also put on his favorite oldies music The Carpenters and this has helped too.

Calmed her better than anything else.

Lucy was diagnosed with dementia and these supplements have helped her with sundowning. Since the 2nd night of giving it to her she has been more comfortable in the evenings and slept through the night! It's been a big relief.

It works well for my fur babies!

I have a Pomeranian, a Labrador Retriever and a Bulldog, this stuff works very well for them! When I had my Lab neutered, he continued to tear his stitches from jumping and diving. He is a VERY hyper dog and these calmed him down and he laid on the couch most of the time after I gave it to him. My Pomeranian and Bulldog are TERRIFIED of thunderstorms and I give these to them before the thunderstorms start. It takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour to kick in, but once it does mine are relaxed and sleeping. I highly recommend!

Helps with separation

This product has helped our dog a lot. Ever since we adopted him over 5 years ago whenever we went out of the house, even just for a very short time he would vomit. He has severe separation anxiety, and it was so sad. We tried a few different things including an anxiety vest, but nothing seemed to help. So, we decided to try this product and if we time it just right, he will not vomit. We live close to a military base that does practice a lot and on those days that we are not home this product doesn't work for him as well. I'm very happy that we have something that stops him from getting sick and yet doesn't make him so drowsy that he can't function. It's made his and our life less stressful worrying about him and having to constantly do laundry cleaning his messes.

Just makes them happy ... not sleepy

The calming treats we usually use were out of stock so we tried this brand. They were similar in ingredients but off enough to make a huge difference. The dogs seem to want to play more then rest. We will just use these as regular treats if we continue to use them at all.

Opened package

Received my package today and the container seal was opened and it was spilled all over the box. Everything else was fine but I am a little uneasy about giving these to my dogs due to it already being opened upon delivery.

Worked Well

My 14-yr-old Poodle had been having anxiety during the night...trotting around the house, whining, barking. So I gave this product a try. It worked from the very first night. When we put her on the bed with us, she stayed awake and whined a few times but then fell asleep and slept through the night...and we did, too. Since then, I give her one chew before bedtime and no more nighttime anxiety.

They work quite well

Been using these for about 3yrs during thunderstorms and neighborhood holiday fireworks and do the trick; in our experience, it seems best to anticipate the situation to give the treat a chance to start working. Of late though, our corgi is more anxious do to her age and losing the use of her hind legs. We now give her 3/day as that situation arises; don't think you'll go wrong purchasing these.
