For the past 20 years, NaturVet has been making a wide range of pet care supplies and supplements that are intended to help pets live the happiest, healthiest lives possible. They are a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliant company and their products are manufactured in an FDA-registered facility. For added certainty, they are voluntarily and independently audited for safety and quality by both U.L. Labs and the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC).
Born Out of a Mission of Love
NaturVet was founded in 1994 after the owners' adopted white lab, Winston, was diagnosed with arthritis and hip dysplasia. Multiple vets told them he couldn't be helped; refusing to accept this grim prognosis, they began researching alternative treatments with Dr. Pedro Rivera, a renowned holistic veterinarian. After a few months, they developed a natural joint formula that went on to give Winston a second chance and more than 10 years of active life with his family and siblings.
For the Health of Your Pet
The NaturVet product line now includes almost 140 solutions designed to support the health and well-being of dogs, cats and horses. Spanning a wide range of needs, including health concerns, nutritional support, behavioral issues, potty training and much more, NaturVet's products are designed to ensure the superior quality of life all pets deserve.
Since 2006, a percentage of NaturVet sales have gone to the NaturVet Foundation—a non-profit, completely volunteer-run organization that supports pet rescue groups and their life-saving efforts. Their goal is to help save the lives of homeless pets by educating the public about the value of caring for animals and raising funds for no-kill shelters and humane societies.
Vegas loves these. They really seem to work well and eats them with no problems, because he is very fussy about anything you try to give him. Hates all medicines. But what do you do, he is turning 16 in June.

My dog loves these! I don't see much of a difference in her temperament though. She is a VERY active/high strung dog, so it may be more her than anything.

My Sheltie Zoey is anxious. I'd like to treat her issues naturally, but have yet to find anything that helps. Quiet Moments has great ingredients, that all should help with anxiety, but the treats have a foul odor and Zoey wasn't interested in them, unless I broke it up into her food. No noticeable improvement in her behavior so it's back to my vet for prescription meds.
These have helped my senior dog...

I have a chihuahua (15 years old). He has some sort of dementia, cateracts, and poor hearing. Needless to say but he does not ever sleep through the night. I was getting up to his barking at least 3 times a night. However these have him sleeping until about 4 AM which is workable.
finally getting some sleep!

My 16 year old beagle will pace the floor all night long. This has been a miracle for my old friend. I highly recommend it.

I couldn't give these a full 5 stars because I can't tell if they work every time. My 14 year old pup gets very anxious (panting, pacing, barking) in the evenings. We usually give her one of these around 8:00 pm if she hasn't calmed down by then. Typically she'll calm down about 30 minutes after eating one, but sometimes it's a wash. I think the melatonin is what really helps, so we might try just melatonin once we run out of these.
Never hurts to try, just like people, what works for some may not for others.

Unfortunately these did not work for my 11 yr old shepherd/husky mix who is terrified of storms (w/or w/out thunder). However, neither have any of the other 3 or 4 products I have tried. Maybe this is a good product for less intense anxiety and stress. So I will finish off the bag as regular treats because at least she does like them.
They seem to be helping my senior lab

We have a 13 year old lab who is showing signs of dementia. He's losing his sight and we think he's getting his days and nights mixed up. He pants and paces during the night and I thought I'd try these to calm him down. We have to wrap them in cheese because he doesn't like the taste. They really seem to help calm him. The required dosage for him is 4 tablets. He seemed to get pretty spaced out, so I give him two each night. I recommend trying these before putting your dog on meds from the vet.
