For the past 20 years, NaturVet has been making a wide range of pet care supplies and supplements that are intended to help pets live the happiest, healthiest lives possible. They are a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliant company and their products are manufactured in an FDA-registered facility. For added certainty, they are voluntarily and independently audited for safety and quality by both U.L. Labs and the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC).
Born Out of a Mission of Love
NaturVet was founded in 1994 after the owners' adopted white lab, Winston, was diagnosed with arthritis and hip dysplasia. Multiple vets told them he couldn't be helped; refusing to accept this grim prognosis, they began researching alternative treatments with Dr. Pedro Rivera, a renowned holistic veterinarian. After a few months, they developed a natural joint formula that went on to give Winston a second chance and more than 10 years of active life with his family and siblings.
For the Health of Your Pet
The NaturVet product line now includes almost 140 solutions designed to support the health and well-being of dogs, cats and horses. Spanning a wide range of needs, including health concerns, nutritional support, behavioral issues, potty training and much more, NaturVet's products are designed to ensure the superior quality of life all pets deserve.
Since 2006, a percentage of NaturVet sales have gone to the NaturVet Foundation—a non-profit, completely volunteer-run organization that supports pet rescue groups and their life-saving efforts. Their goal is to help save the lives of homeless pets by educating the public about the value of caring for animals and raising funds for no-kill shelters and humane societies.
Odd smell but they do seem to help with relaxation
on Aug 30, 2018
I got these for my dog Rambo, but he was immediately turned off by the smell of the treats and wouldn’t eat them. I gave them to my brother’s dog and she loves them, though! So I suppose it’s an acquired taste for doggies. But they do seem to keep her somewhat calm and relaxed, although she isn’t very high strung to begin with. The treats aren’t game changers in my opinion, but then again, they may be for a dog that is more anxious or high energy. They don’t do any harm to her and she likes the taste though, so I can’t complain!

I have used this product for several years and it has worked great with all 3 of my dogs. I can’t imagine a 4th of July or New Years Eve without it. My current two dogs are young—I didn’t notice it said Senior Product until I received it but it doesn’t matter, it’s the same ingredients as the regular packaging. My dogs love the flavor of them and fall blissfully asleep quickly.
This really works

I bought this item to try. Last night before the fireworks started, we gave our dog 4 of these chews. There were a lot of fireworks going on in our neighborhood. Roscoe would just lift his head if one of the explosions was loud but he was totally relaxed and just slept through it. We have also given him these chews before thunderstorms and they work like a charm. Roscoe is calm and not at all upset. We will be ordering this product again.

My 11yr old beagle was shot by some neighbor kids with a firework years ago and ever since then he's had horrible problems with anxiety. Any storms or fireworks has him going crazy. Pacing and panting and trying to hide anywhere he can. I was at my wits end until I tried these on a whim. I LOVE these. They work amazing. I will definitely make sure to keep these in stock at my house.

While this did appear to help my dog calm down it wasn’t as much as I had hoped but to be truthful my dog gets extremely anxious during thunderstorms so I am happy for any calming effect it provides.
They work well if you can get your dog to eat them?
on Sep 5, 2018
I think they work but they must taste horrible because I have to cut them up really small and mix with other things to get him to eat them. He spits them out if I don't cut them up super small.
Does not work

Did absolutely nothing to calm my dog. After 4 days of use the chews just turned into dog treats seeing that they did not work as advertised.

My Sheltie Zoey is anxious. I'd like to treat her issues naturally, but have yet to find anything that helps. Quiet Moments has great ingredients, that all should help with anxiety, but the treats have a foul odor and Zoey wasn't interested in them, unless I broke it up into her food. No noticeable improvement in her behavior so it's back to my vet for prescription meds.

This product has been the best for my golden and his storm fears. Glad I tried it and will purchase again.
These have helped my senior dog...

I have a chihuahua (15 years old). He has some sort of dementia, cateracts, and poor hearing. Needless to say but he does not ever sleep through the night. I was getting up to his barking at least 3 times a night. However these have him sleeping until about 4 AM which is workable.
