Higher dish, less "scarf and barf"
By SCPhilly on Feb 20, 2021
These dishes aren't just stylish. They're practical. My cat likes to eat like there's no tomorrow. The poor thing used to retch up her meals about once a week no matter what food I served. I'd heard that a raised food dish would prevent my cat from scarfing and barfing, so I bought this bowl. It's working! No more wasted food and tummy trauma. The ceramic has a lot of advantages. I can pop it in the microwave to heat up refrigerated cat food. I actually like how the rubber base comes off, which allows for thorough cleaning.

Princess approved

These are where form meets function. Cute as can be and so much easier for our little girl who came to us with eating issues that kept her from being able to survive as a farm cat. She is eating better and keeping it in her tummy. Gaining weight! Love the way they look and what they have done for Cocoa!

perfect size for a cat
By Remi on Jan 18, 2021
I bought this because I had read many articles about how elevating cat food bowls relieves strain on their necks when they eat. Our girl is still young, so it is not a big deal right now, but I hope early intervention will help as she ages. This one is great! We use it for her wet food, and it is the perfect size for a Fancy Feast Broth or a single serving of wet food. It is well weighted, so she has not tipped it over which was one of my concerns. I will be buying more of them.

Heads Up!!!
By Jean on Feb 18, 2021
I purchased 2 of these dishes for my 2 cats after reading that it is better for older cats to have their heads raised a bit to eat. Do they like their new dishes? Of course they do! They eat better and love that I care enough about their digestive health to purchase these dishes!

So far, so good
By Wolfpets on Jan 25, 2021
I had this bowl for about half a month, and so far it's been really good. It's heavy ceramic, but not too heavy. I can still easily pick it up, but my kitten can't nock it over. I love the idea of an elevated bowl, and this is a really well priced and stylish option. Some people say it's too small, and yes, I agree the smaller option is way too small for a full grown cat. But the bigger option is perfect.

Good for my old lady
By CatH on Feb 9, 2021
I got this bowl for my 17-year-old kitty. It's nice and heavy and helps her not have to bend over so much - as long as she doesn't get excited and try to eat the bowl (results pictured) Once she figured out she shouldn't do that, we haven't had any more spills!

Makes mealtime easier for some kitties
By sweetkittylover on Feb 1, 2021
My kitties are rescues and one had so many dental issues that she had to have all her teeth removed. This bowl makes it easy for her to eat by raising the food to a higher level. She's able to eat the dry nibbles more quickly without the frustration of chasing them around a bowl. The graphics are adorable to boot.

No customer support
By Prada on Feb 13, 2021
Necoichi doesn't reply to my messages even though I sent them several about this product. They also don't offer a phone number to be able to call them. I guess they don't want to be bothered by their customers after they sell them their products.

Nice but a slight problem.
By Cherie on Dec 12, 2020
I bought three of these. They are nice-looking bowls, and they do raise the food level for my cats. I like that the bowls are ceramic. I can only give 4 stars because the rubbery plastic ring on the base of each bowl does serve a purpose. It keeps the bowl from sliding and does create a cushion against the floor. I do not have a dish washer and have washed them by hand - yet the ring came off one of the bowls after the second wash. I put it back on, but it got more and more difficult to do so and would not stay. The other two bowls followed suit. Obviously it doesn’t render them useless, so I will not return them, but it does always irritate me every time I use the bowl.

It works, but the volume is off
By K1llerBunny on Dec 11, 2020
Cute little elevated food dish. We feed our cat 1/4 cup of dry food twice a day. So you'd think the 1/2 cup size would be more than enough. Nope, it is just big enough. One 1/4 cup scoop goes to just underneath the rim. Any more than that and food would flow over the top and make a mess. It is elevated, but not tilted. I do think our cat is eating her food much better than she was just before I ordered this. After 8 or 10 hrs at work we were still finding food in her bowl from that morning when we came home. It's a nice little bowl and it does have some benefits, but I would order a size up.
