Size not as described
By Rebecca on Dec 6, 2020
I always like to start with positives so what I really liked about this item is that it seems to be well made and sturdy. I like that the leash ring does not sit directly on the back but is attached with fabric where it's held off the body when walking. (Our sweet fur baby has arthritis and this is now an issue with his old harness). --- My issue with this is the sizing they say it fits: ( neck circumference: 11-12.6 inches, length: 6.3 inches, and chest circumference: 16.9-18.5 inches. ) Our boy's chest circumference is 17.75 in. (this is including 2 of my fingers under measuring tape to allow for comfort) and is well within the sizing reference, however, this harness didn't even come close I always like to start with positives so what I really liked about this item is that it seems to be well made and sturdy. It was far too small. Chewy was awesome when I called about this. I spoke with a "Christina" and there was no issue with returning this item, she even tried to help me find another harness. She was so very helpful and I will definitely be shopping with Chewy again if the good Lord's willing. … more

He got out.
By kateindc on Nov 29, 2020
I didn't have any trouble getting him into the harness, but he didn't have any trouble getting out, either. He was able to back right out of it when he got spooked, and was missing for three weeks in a park. Thankfully I got him back with the help of a pet tracker, but I can't in good conscience recommend this to anyone.

He still eacaped
By madmom on Nov 16, 2020
Love this item. I have a very determined cat when it comes to escaping. He managed to squeeze his little body out when I left him alone for several minutes!! So while it will give him the ability to enjoy the outside it will be only when I can be watching!

Beautiful and secure
By Kodad on Nov 1, 2020
It’s beautiful, comfortable, and functional. Absolutely happy with this purchase. This vest-style with the velcro is our favorite harness style. It’s easy to put on and comfortable for cats. My cat hasn’t slipped out of it and the straps that buckle to meet for the lead attachment act as an extra safety measure. I wish they sold a matching leash.

A little snug
By Domino on Nov 19, 2020
The vest is just a little snug for my Domino. I bought it to allow him to get outside, but I may give it to my daughter. Her beasts are not as wide as mine. I may need to invest in a small doggie vest. Nonetheless, it is beautifully made!

Awesome harness
By effenprincess on Nov 3, 2020
This is exactly what I was looking for as she slips out of harnesses that Velcro under the belly. She can get around normally with it and it makes me feel secure that she can’t get out of it.

You must be joking
By Denise on Sep 9, 2020
there is no way that a cat, who does not want to wear the harness in the first place, is going to sit still while their human has to fiddle with the teeny tiny buckle. This is going right back. The manufacturer clearly has no clue how actual LIVE cats react to being put into a harness.

Let's go for walkies
By Junior on Nov 14, 2020
Like the Velcro fasten on top compared to others that fasten underneath, easier to get on and off.

Great until she saw a dog
By OpheliaCat on Jul 9, 2020
She saw a dog and bolted, broke out of the harness and ran away. She's an indoor cat and she has a collar tag and microchip but she's gone and I don't know when she's coming back. She hadn't been outside in this neighborhood before. I just wanted her to get exercise. I understand the need for breakaway safety collars but this harness should have been stronger. It only took one walk for me to lose my best friend and now I'm obviously pretty sad. I hope someone finds her. I can't. It's really hard to find a cat that doesn't want to be found. It's really cute and it did the job for a half hour but it wasn't worth losing her over.

Cat crawls right out of it despite it fitting him perfectly.
By Zeus on Oct 30, 2020
My cat slipped right out of it. The size seems right, but then he just crawls out of it!
