Will the color stain cats' feet?

The coloring used in this litter is food coloring. Any crystal cat litter with color crystals has the potential of staining a cat’s paws. Not having a sufficient amount of litter in the pan can lead to a pool of urine on the bottom of the pan and the food coloring as a result may stain the cats paws. Scooping regularly and keeping 2-3 inches of litter in the litter pan should cause no color transfer.
how much do you need per litter pan?

The amount of litter needed will vary on the size of the litter box and how much you use. In general, it's recommended to have a litter base about 2-3 inches deep.
Can this be used in a automatic litter box?

It is not recommended to use this litter for self-cleaning litter boxes due to the way the clumps are formed. Crystal litter does not naturally clump so a natural clumping agent is added made from peapods. The clumps will not be hard until the clump dries and this takes a few hours. The self-cleaning litter boxes usually do the auto-scooping 10-15 minutes after the cat leaves the litter box not giving the clump enough time to get hard.

Worst Cat Litter Ever

I got this to save money. Whenever my cat used the littler box, not only did it track everywhere but it stuck to his fur. Very cheaply made. Not recommended.

Pretty Litter

I was reluctant to try this as I was getting it as I liked it. But so do my cats and it is refreshing to see a nice color not just regular litter. We use different types but this was a nice, refreshing change for one of our boxes. Clumps hard, sticks to box if this is a problem use pan liners. We think we will try mixing with a bit of another litter we use that doesn't stick to see if that works out.

I love this stuff

First time ordering through chewy and was so happy with how fast it got delivered. Within 12 hours! I can’t buy this anywhere in store near me now so I’ll be buying from here now. Colorful litter makes scooping your cats poop much more enjoyable! And your aren’t throwing out tons of litter every week!

Skip over this and keep shopping

I loved the idea of having crystals that clump but this product is still very dusty. It does an average job of clumping small amounts of urine, but if you're not using a liner, and there is a lot of urine, it turns into a solid, unbreakable rock that needs to be chiseled out of the litter box. Will not repurchase.

It is not dust free as it states. I have the neon crystals all over amd the dust as well.

Lightweight Litter

I love the idea of very lightweight litter. I'm 70 years old and my litter boxes are in the basement. Carrying those heavy buckets of litter into the basement is not an option. My main complaint is very low volume. A bag of litter only barely covers the box an inch. So far the cats seem to like it but I'm not really wowed by the odor control.

Not clumping as advertised!

This litter did not clump I actually threw away my litter box because if not I was going to have to scrub for ever to get this litter out. Nice color but not made for urine at all.

Works great

Works great. Good clumping. No odor. My only complaint is that one bag is not enough for a large litter box.

Mix it in with others

Ive been using these neon litters for about a year now and they are really great for mixing it into existing litters. This reduces the weight of the waste and clumps REALLY well. I mix this with a scented clay clumping litter that ive been using for 10 years, and a LARGE crystal non clumping litter to reduce tracking. The system i have is working well so far. Sometimes ill add in pretty litter for the odor but usually i dont need it. I dont think this litter does anything for the smell. When i first purchased it, it was around $7 but has since gone up to $11 :'(

would not recommend

This is the absolute worst litter I have ever purchased. Does not contain the smell at all and my cats have tracked it EVERYWHERE in my apartment even with their litterbox having 2 tracking mats. I have used the crystal litter for 2 years and have never had an issue with this. Do not buy.
