  • Nice looking but poor quality

    By on

The door is attached with two little plastic pegs. My dog busted the door off in the first week just by running into it. We have since reattached the door with metal hinges. It works and looks nice except for the particle board that was broken when the door snapped off. It also came with a hole in the top but Chewy has been great at rectifying this. It sure is nice looking but no I would not recommend it.

  • I love and recommend it 100 %

I have for our Min Pin, it's the best buy ever, she sleeps in there great, I just opened the door and put her bedding in, she checked it out and she is very picky and normally doesn't like change and a few hours later when I looked for her, she was in there fast asleep :-) It's GREAT in our living room, it's 100 % better than looking at a crate and the color is perfect with our furniture, it blends in so well like I bought it with the rest of our furniture, and it's very well made. She is happy and I'm beyond happy, what more can you ask for :-) Thanks Chewy, I'm a loyal fan for life and so is my fur-baby :-)

  • Disappointed

    By on

I don't normally write reviews but i will for this as I was disappointed. If you have an anxiety driven dog that likes to try and get out of their cage while you are away, I would not recommend getting this one. We have a German Short Haired Pointer and she had chewed the cage door OFF in only 4 days of her being in it. The material is a hard plastic that is obviously not durable. Size and looks of the cage were great, but did not hold up to puppy standards for us. Personally not worth the money and would not recommend to anyone.

  • Large Crate

    By on

I agree with everyone else that this crate is not very sturdy. It is not designed to crate-train an animal, that's for sure. My dog is fully crate-trained, and doesn't fight being inside a kennel whatsoever, so it's perfect for her. If you have a chewer or an escape artist this is not for you. Size large is pretty big, it fits my fifty pound dog's bed plus there's room for water/food bowls and some toys. Too big to pass as an end table but it fits well in the corner of my living room, and even though it's obvious that it's a crate, it's a nice crate. :)

  • Best dog crate

    By on

I finally found a crate that we can keep in our living room and our dog doesn't hurt his paws trying to get out. The vertical bars are best for him because the square gates of the other kennel caused him paw pain. With theses bars, his paws slide down them when he would try to get out. Now he is much calmer in this crate and doesn't fight to get out.

  • Very nice crate but the top cracked after we put it together..

    By on

Very easy to put together, and we like how it looks. The issue I have is after we put it all together and looked it over it appeared to be in perfect shape. However after about a half hour a six inch crack opened in the top from underneath. It goes completely through. Too much to take it apart and rebox it and ship it back..

  • I love this elegant crate!!

    By on

I was hesitant to order this crate as most of the reviews explained it was fragile, not good for chewers or puppies. Honestly, I’m glad I ordered this product anyway. My 5 month old chewing pit bull does not try to chew the crate. The “large” is spacious enough for my dog to grow into it & still be comfortable as an adult dog. The crate is elegant and sturdy enough to not fall apart while I have my puppy kicking at the door. I love it!

  • My dog loves her new crate!

    By on

Our dog has been crate trained since we got her from the shelter. She used to go in easily each night. As she got older she started getting stubborn about going in to her crate, to the point where we had to forcibly put her into the crate. With this new crate she walks in happily without any hesitation. She even goes into her crate when she just wants to lay down during the day. I love it and so does my doggo.

  • As Advertised

    By on

Other than the inside measurements were a bit smaller than I was expecting, this is awesome. The measurements I went with were what I thought would be the dog crate size but turned out to be the external measurements such as the width of the top.....My dog does love it so its doable !

  • Durable crate!

    By on

I got the large white one, and was extremely nervous because I own a chew happy 45lbs dog that actually managed to eat a square foot of the floor at my last apartment. It's been about a week and he hasn't been in the crate for more than an hour or so, but no trouble at all. The day the crate arrived he actually managed to escape his wire one, and although the size is just a tiny bit small, he hasn't made any progress at all in his escape despite trying. Not a mark left from all the scratching, and he hasn't found a spot to bite. He doesn't even try to escape when I leave anymore.
