This arrived in the manufacturer’s box which is OK, but the box was unsealed. No tape, straps, nothing. When I unpacked it, the assembly hardware was missing, as well as any instructions. Luckily, I have a good selection of bolts in my shop, so I went ahead and assembled the shelter the best I could. This arrived in the manufacturer’s box which is OK, but the box was unsealed. Just extremely inconvenient that the correct hardware was not provided. … more

Kitty house
By Nice on Feb 21, 2021
Package arrived earlier than I expected Did not take long to put it together and it is good size My cats are not interested in it right now maybe cause it's not cold enough to use it yet time will tell I put the door flaps on and I'm not sure that's another reason they don't go in I think it needs a small roof over the doors so weather does not get in Otherwise I am pleased with it I think it is overpriced though

needed a modification + insulation to make it work
By perk on Feb 18, 2021
I like the box. Putting it together was easy. But, today I modified it to make it more accessible for cleaning and checking on kittens. I cut foam insulation for the floor and the side that was facing the wind. I then used reflectix (a reflective insulation used for basement rafter insulation) and used postal tape to completely line the box. I cut strips in the doorways so the doors were insulated to but accessible with a view. I then used steel rods through to re-attach the top. That allows me to lift the front to put in the straw or to clean it out without the hassle of trying to re-install the top each cleaning (the top was a hassle because the screws were hard to put back in). A 4# box of straw would go a long way too. … more

Good choice for outdoor shelter
By BenK on Feb 14, 2021
Install instructions were easy to follow. Working great for a feral cat. Put the K&H self warming bed in a location the cat slept for a few nights. Then moved the bed into the shelter. I did not install the doors. After two weeks of use installed the side door. It's great that it's off the ground. Will eventually install the front door.

Disappointed in the quality and appearance, not what I expected. So far my cat has not shown any interest at all!

Cat House Trial
By Sami on Feb 5, 2021
I purchased this charming cat shelter as a trial for my 4 cats. It was easy to put together, once I turned it upside down to finish aliening the screw holes. Though my 4 adult cats sniffed at it, none entered. Today, however, the biggest cat is in it curled up snugly dozing away. I may purchase another for my medium cat. I think the house is too small for the other two. They like to sleep together. I do wish that it had a easy to remove or fold up roof for cleaning and adding bedding.

I love it, the cats love it too
By Stacy on Feb 4, 2021
I have purchased many many different outdoor cat houses, shelters, huts. I have many feral cats in my yard. I also like to use heating pads in the winter. I really love this house. If you are going to use heating pads that aren't soft and roll up to fit through the side door, remember to put it in before you put the roof on. It was easy to put together. The cats took to it immediately. I have only had it a couple weeks. Hopefully it stands the hard winters of Wisconsin!

Easy to assemble and sturdy. Cats weren't receptive at first. Am considering buying camouflage house next. Bought for outdoor cats.

Love the House
By DeeDee on Feb 3, 2021
I decided to use "common sense" to put house together. The directions were lacking. House is quite nice, only wish it had a mat to go on the plastic floor. I had to buy one which ended up being a very soft, comfy bathroom rug. My "outdoor" cats are spoiled and like to sleep in comfort. The house complements the color of my house. All things aside, I really like the house. They haven't said, but I think they do, too, LOL.
