    Excellent ingredients

    By on

Took my betta about 3 days to get use to the switch, now he gobbles them up. They're a great size, but they are bigger than my previous food. The first day he'd take them in and spit them out a few times before he'd swallow them but now he doesn't think twice (I even saw him eat 2 at once one time). I'd highly recommend these if you're looking for quality ingredients.

    Good quality food

    By on

it's pretty good quality food and I don't have to worry about the food falling right away as it does stay floating on the surface for a while.

Two of my three bettas love it! The third will come around

    By on

I have three bettas (separate tanks of course) two females and a male, both girls will eat this willingly, but my male is very picky and isn't a fan. He only really likes his frozen raw so it isn't any fault of this food. Only complaint is biofilm ): easy fix, but it is quite gross

    Great size, floats nicely

    By on

I've had two bettas and both of them really enjoy these pellets. They float easily, even after getting swirled around a bit in the current caused by the filter. The size is also great for a betta mouth -- small but still noticeable. As soon as I drop a few in the tank, my fish swim up and "hunt" them. It's a pretty large container, so it lasts a long time!

    Great for all bettas

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

These pellets are a much better size for bettas than other brands make. They float for quite a while and my bettas seem to enjoy them pretty well.

    Betta friendly.

Quality ingredients and pellet size small for our bettas to get down easily! We're done with oversized pellets made of fish meal. So glad we found New Life Spectrum!

    Gets really big

    By on

When the pellets absorbs the water they get pretty big. My betta fish has a hard time getting them. My betta doesn't like them but hates them enough that he wants to go back to his old food Which is good because I've been having trouble feeding him so I actually like this product just because of that

    Great food for Bettas

    By on Top 25 Contributor

I have 17 Bettas, and they all like these pellets. Good ingredients. Bettas are carnivorous fish, and need meats as the first ingredients in a food. Most brands have too many grains and fillers and are difficult for a Betta to digest. This food is recommended in the Betta groups I'm in on Facebook.
