Great for food topper

A friend gave me a couple small bags of this food as her cat developed an allergy. We give these as treats only, but all of our cats love it. We have a 14 year old cat who is on hyperthyroid medication and has beginning stages of kidney disease, both which decreases his appetite. I am always concerned about his weight as he was undiagnosed when we adopted him last year and was very underweight. I have fattened him up since then, but he still doesn't eat as much as he should. He isn't always a huge fan of the food he is supposed to eat. When he isn't wanting to eat, to entice him, we mix his wet food with a bit of warm water and crumble a small bit of these over his food as a topping. It usually does the trick to get him to eat a fair bit. It is quite expensive, but if you're just using it as a food topping, it isn't terrible.

My Cat is happy

My cat absolutely loves this food. Generally when I get a different type of food and put it out for her to try she will not eat it. No matter how expensive it is or how great I think it will be for her she walks away. The first night I gave this to her I used it as a meal topper and she ate it all. I have been wanting to try raw but did not know where to start. This worked. Thank you Chewy for carrying this brand.

wish they both passed

I have two cats. One refused to eat this at all....the other would eat it, and then promptly throw up. Nothing like the late-night vomiting to make me wish both cats had gone on the hunger strike. I'll stick with other flavors from this brand.

everyone likes this

It's no secret the animals in our house like this food. we've recommended it to lots of friends and people in online groups too. It's a little expensive but makes a great topper to regular food with some added nutrition benefits.
