Frequently Asked Questions
Are your pet products thoroughly tested?
Yes. All of our pet products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality control and samples are obtained during each production run for analysis and retention for additional evaluation.
Is there any animal testing involved?
No. The only analytical testing done is in a laboratory where animals are NOT allowed. We do "taste testing" with animals awaiting adoption in a local humane society shelter.
What are the benefits of feeding organic dog and cat foods?
Feeding organic foods eliminates the buildup of residues of chemical additives, preservatives, pesticides, fertilizers and herbicides which have been clinically proven to have adverse health effects on dogs, cats and in fact all animals including humans.
Our dogs love these. They smell almost good enough for us to eat them. The are small enough for our Shih Tzu and we give our Golden Retriever two. Makes them both happy. Newman's products are all good and with the profits going to charity it's a win, win.

We have tried each flavor made for Murphy and he loves them all. I coat some of hie toys with a bit of peanut butter and then fill them with these cookies. He gets treats but not too much as they are so small, but loves his treat. I would highly recommend these treats for many uses.

My beagle loves these!
on Dec 1, 2016
I started giving these treats to my senior beagle when we discovered he had allergies to food/treats using meat or chicken ingredients. He loves them and we particularly like the smaller size because he is overweight (as many beagles are).
Grocery stores in my area do not carry these treats so I was delighted to find them on Chewy.com and Auto Delivery is particularly convenient. Hunter always has his treats when he wants them.

Tobey loves these snacks. He is a medium size dog and I sometimes break these in half to use as training rewards. He likes the chicken flavor too.
Perfect size for nail trimming
on Jul 23, 2016
Having his nails trimmed is not my sweet George's favorite thing. He's a big boy, Aussie/Gr Pyr mix, and his habit is to lick my hands during the entire process. These tiny treats are the perfect distraction without adding too many calories to his diet. I give him a couple to get started on a happy note, then 1 treat per nail, that is if I'm fast enough. I place the treat on the opposite side of him that I'm working on so he has to turn his head. Works like a charm :D
