Our dog loves it

Our dog loves these chewable. She sniffs and gently takes it from my hand. Helps with the fleas. Our vet recommended Chewy.com and I love their products and prices. Other than the medicine, we will be buying more from them in the future. Fast delivery service too.

Been using this for years, my dog still got lime disease

Totally worthless. She's gotten lime disease twice now and she's been on this consistently since a puppy. We recently found out after we had to rush her to the ER due to stomach issues. I'd run away from this brand as far as I can.

My dog got a tick borne illness on this medication

Nexgard is apparently useless. My dog just tested positive for Ehrlichiosis despite having been on monthly Nexgard for years now and never missing a dose. My vet says that he's had serious concerns for years about the claims the company makes for how long the ticks stay on without dying and how brief a time it takes to transmit a disease, and this is just a sickening example of that. Now my dog is going to be positive with a dangerous disease for the rest of his life, and I'm stuck with a six month supply of this useless preventative. Very frustrated and disappointed and worried about my poor boy.

NexGard

Thinks he getting a treat when we give his NexGard chew. He has no idea they are helping him stay flea and tick free. They were recommended by our vet. They are a bit pricey, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Zero stars DONT USE

My dog never had seizures before Nexgard and now he’s on constant medication to keep the seizures managed. Nexgard warns in their side effects that is causes seizures. Please don’t use. Save your pet!!!

Great

I was worried about giving this to my geriatric English bulldog, because she’s a very sensitive dog and I’d always given her topical flea/tick preventatives. But she was battling an unrelated skin infection on her back, so the vet said to try this instead.. no problems! She did well on it, and no fleas/ticks

After trying topical flea meds, supposedly best flea collar and bathing with flea shampoo, all still allowed fleas on my pup and in my house. 2 weeks now after first oral med and Thank you NexGuard

Great but took longer to work than expected

Product works great although I thought I'd take a day or two but after a week all fleas seemed to have died so alls well.

Nexgard is effective and works!

Some of the bad reviews are kinda silly, I can't believe people aren't aware of what kind of prescription drug they're giving to their pets... Then they get upset learning the possible side effects that can happen AFTER their dog reacts. Does anyone pay attention to the warning signs anymore? READ THE LABELS THOROUGHLY BEFORE GIVING MEDS TO YOUR PET. Yes, side effects can happen, but it can happen with any prescription drug (even stuff we humans have to take). Always read the labels and be cautious, especially if it's the first time your pet is taking it. I have been using Nexgard for 5 years without any issue, but of course if my dog ever develops a reaction then the logical thing would be to stop taking it. Not every dog can be on drugs this powerful, and in those cases you will have to find a different method to help prevent parasites. Fortunately my dog has shown zero side effects in all the years he has been taking it, some dogs are just more prone to reacting because all bodies are different and react differently. I have never seen a tick or flea in my life or on my dog despite hiking in the woods and wilderness, so I am fortunate that Nexgard has worked effectively for us.

how about those big dogs ?

I've been using Nexgard and Heartgard for years, love these products! that being said ...my 162.2-pound puppy would love it if a single chew could be made (instead of having to purchase 2 of everything :)
