    Don’t hesitate-worth every penny

I felt this is one of those times. I have two small dogs that just moved with me from NY to NC. Rocky is 13 and Daisy is 10, never in their lives have either of them taken or needed flea/tick medication due to being in the suburbs prior. After 1 week in our new home 13 year old rocky developed a terrible skin rash. He was up all hours of the night licking and crying, with red, pus filled bumps all over his belly. It broke my heart seeing him so miserable. I immediately tried Benadryl, which barley took the edge off. I changed his food. I took him to the vet. I was told it was probably just him reacting to the new environment. But nothing seemed to help Now 3 weeks later he is still miserable and I’ve tried everything! Until a few days ago I saw a little creature on his belly and realized he must have fleas! Apparently some dogs have terrible reactions to flea bites and NC weather is very flea friendly which I was unaware of. Well I ordered this medication praying it would work as I am not a bug person whatsoever and could barley sleep knowing they were in my house. Within 3 days It was at my door! Late last night I give them both their first treatment. Daisy is a treat snob, she sniffed it and then ate it without arguments. Rocky inhaled his as normal. I woke up this morning to dead fleas! Literally! Dead! Laying under both dogs as if they just dropped dead immediately, less than 8 hours after the treatment! It’s still the early stages, though my poor rocky has finally stopped itching and is currently sleeping away by my side peacefully for the first Time in weeks. I will watch very closely, though seeing the dead flea bodies laying there motionless, and my snuggly baby sleeping peacefully, my heart was given a huge relief and I will never miss a dose from here on out! Worth every penny for peace of mind … more

    Didn’t work

    By 5dogs on Sep 1, 2020

I am perplexed if it’s just my dogs or what but it did not kill the fleas. I took them to the vet and told him that I use next guard and he said it’s great but he found fleas on them. He said sometimes it takes two weeks to kill all the fleas but the treatment is only good for a month so if it takes I am perplexed if it’s just my dogs or what but it did not kill the fleas. I took them to the vet and told him that I use next guard and he said it’s great but he found fleas on them. He said sometimes it takes two weeks to kill all the fleas but the treatment is only good for a month so if it takes two weeks then it only kills them for two weeks and I have to do it again. I have five dogs and it didn’t seem to work on any of them. At first I thought maybe just the first shipment was bad but I’ve tried it for two months now and they all have fleas … more
