When this product first showed up on chewy, I was intrigued but hesitant because there were so few reviews out there and they mostly seemed negative or mixed at best. However, having tried a variety of pellet and large grained litters for my DMH, this was essentially my last resort. I knew that I would When this product first showed up on chewy, I was intrigued but hesitant because there were so few reviews out there and they mostly seemed negative or mixed at best. However, having tried a variety of pellet and large grained litters for my DMH, this was essentially my last resort. I knew that I would likely be disappointed, but I simply wanted a litter that was low dust, minimal tracking, clumping, and wouldn't get stuck on my baby's paws. I started using Cypress Fresh on November 22nd and this has been my experience Cons: Dusty when pouring Clumps take several minutes to dry Pros: No litter between my cat's beans or on his legs Very little tracking beyond the litter mat Clumps haven't broken apart even when I can see they're not fully dry Great odor control For reference, this litter is used by a 2 year-old, neutered male DMH. He's healthy, 10.5 lbs (~5 kg), and doesn't have very strong smelling urine. His bowel movements, on the other hand, can clear a room, but this litter seems to dry them quickly enough to keep the area from smelling for long. The box is scooped every 1-2 days and I have yet to experience any issues with odor. … more

Questionable if I like it enough to buy again
By Mona on Aug 2, 2019
The litter seemed too large for my cats. I do like that it’s natural cat litter.

My Favorite Cat Litter
By Kate on Jun 10, 2019
I love this cat litter because it doesn't have an odor, it is easy to sweep up from my tile and wood floors, and a 6 pound bag definitely lasts for a month. I have one 16 pound very active four year old cat. I adopted my rescue cat in 2016. I tried many different brands of cat litter, but my fragrance allergies, my wood floors, and my cat preferred this brand.

Poor clumping, smells
By Angi on May 14, 2019
Read the reviews, took my chances. Hoping that it would track less than the grass litter. Perhaps it does, but I can smell it, an even when mixed with another great clumping litter, broke apart. A friend who was helping me asked if she should just dump the whole box. It had only been in there for 3 days... NOT A FAN.

Great at odor control
By Zeromess on Feb 12, 2019
I would give this an "A" in odor rating but a "c" in clumping capability and tracking through the house

Grat addition to swheat scoop
By WiseCat on Feb 12, 2019
I have two cats who use one large little box and generally are not picky about their litter. After discovering Cypress Fresh, I started adding it to swheat scoop - my main litter. I love it - it significantly reduced dust and tracking, clumps nicely with swheat scoop, can be flushed, and adds nice scent and freshness to the littler box. One bag lasts a month. Scooping takes a bit longer as I try to sift out loose pallets to avoid wasting good litter.

Green Tea!
By JoJo on Nov 29, 2018
Love the smell (and lack thereof) The cats like the texture, tracks a little, but very low dust. Clumps VERY well. I would recommend a scoop that has round holes (you can get it here.) Works great with ALL litters.

Misnomer I'm afraid.
By Rescue on Nov 3, 2018 Top 250 Contributor
While the cats don't seem to mind this pellet style litter, which is a good thing, the clumping aspect leaves a lot to be desired. Not my first choice, but would do in a pinch.

A great alternative to regular litter
By Laura on May 27, 2018
Not all my cats use it. Some are still stuck on Tidy cats. But the ones that do. it's easy clean up and a pleasant smell
